    Abstract: Disclosed implementations provide a streamlined, assisted search process for surfacing items from a database that enables guided exploratory searching. For example, a system may receive selected content from a client device and determine a first object and a second object for the selected content using a search converter. The system may generate first results by performing a first search of items in a database using the first object as a query, and generate second results by performing a second search of the items in the database using the second object as a query. The system may select a first set of the first results based on relevance of the first object to the selected content and a second set of the second results based on relevance of the second object to the selected content. The system may provide a combined search result including the first set and the second set.

    Abstract: In general, techniques are described by which to enable a transparency mode in vehicles. A device comprising one or more microphones and one or more processors may be configured to perform the techniques. The microphones may capture audio data representative of a sound scene external to a vehicle. The processors may perform beamforming with respect to the audio data to obtain object audio data representative of an audio object in the sound scene external to the vehicle. The processors may next reproduce, by interfacing with one or more speakers included within the vehicle and based on the object audio data, the audio object in the sound scene external to the vehicle.

    Abstract: A computing device, such as a wearable device, may include a light source and a photodetector array. The photodetector array may be used to determine a touch event of a user that occurs during a time interval. A subset of the plurality of photodetectors associated with the touch event may provide detection signals at each of a plurality of times within the time interval, which may be aggregated to obtain a time series of aggregated detection signals. Biometric data of the user may be generated, based on the time series of aggregated detection signals.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for sonar-based vital sign monitoring are presented herein. A mobile device may be determined to be stationary. In response, sonar-based movement sensing can be activated. Sonar data can then be captured in response to activating the sonar-based movement sensing. A breathing pattern can be detected in the sonar data and used to collect respiration data about a user.
