Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for treatment or prevention of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and conditions by inhibiting or modifying histone demethylation. In a further aspect the invention relates to a method for identifying agents useful in said methods of treatment. The invention particularly describes the role of certain histone demethylase enzymes in these diseases and conditions and their use as therapeutic and screening targets.

A flat, ribbon-like headphone cable having a unitary cable section, a splitter, and two split cable sections for connection to earpieces. The unitary and split cable sections each have substantially flat cross-sections wherein the width is substantially greater than the thickness. The split cable sections are oriented such that their widths are substantially perpendicular to the width of the unitary cable section.

Computer systems and methods allow users to annotate content items found in a corpus such as the World Wide Web. Annotations, which can include any descriptive and/or evaluative metadata related to a document, are collected from a user and stored in association with that user. Users are able to annotate and view their annotations for any document they encounter while interacting with the corpus, including hits returned in a search of the corpus. Users are also able to search their annotations or to limit searches to documents they have annotated. Metadata from annotations can also be aggregated across users and aggregated metadata applied in generating search results.

Abstract:
A motor drive for conditioning power to be delivered to a non-motor load includes a voltage feedback circuit that monitors a DC bus voltage and, based on changes in the DC bus voltage, adjusts a power conditioning scheme such that near steady-state load conditions are maintained in response to a transient load condition. The voltage feedback circuit has a voltage sensor that provides voltage feedback to a controller that determines what changes in power conditioning are needed in response to a transient load condition that manifests itself in a change in DC bus voltage.

A display system for a handheld computing device is disclosed. The display system includes a processing unit having a first communication port, and a visual display unit separable from the processing unit. The visual display unit further includes a visual display, and a second communication port. The display unit can be expanded from an initial or storage state to present a larger visual display size. Further, the first communication port providing communication with the second communication port.
Abstract:
A package of a semiconductor device with a flexible wiring substrate and a method thereof are provided. The package of the semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate with at least one pad on a surface thereof, a bump bonded to the pad, an adhesive layer on the bump, and a flexible wiring substrate having at least one contact section being electrically connected with the bump by the adhesive layer. The present invention makes the flexible wiring substrate directly conductively attached onto the semiconductor substrate. The package size is shrunk and the cost down can be obtained.
