Abstract:
A method and apparatus for establishing a device-to-device (D2D) connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A first mobile device may transmit an identity of a network node to a second mobile device. In this case, the first mobile device and the network node are connected by a first connection, and the first mobile device and the second mobile device are connected by a second connection. Or, a base station may transmit information on a D2D connection between mobile devices which are connected to the base station, to a neighboring network node. The information on the D2D connection includes at least one of information on the mobile devices, and a D2D mode.
Abstract:
A method for connecting with a network at a user equipment in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving system information from a cell; and if an uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using an band indicator included in the system information, configuring the cell as a barred cell. Also, the method further includes performing a connection re-establishment procedure with the network after configuring the cell as the barred cell, if the uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using the band indicator.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for scheduling uplink (UL) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a backoff parameter from a network, and determines whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter before transmitting a scheduling request (SR) to the network via a dedicated channel. Whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter is determined according to a prioritized access, and the prioritized access corresponds to one of emergency access, high priority access, control element/information in media access control (MAC), radio link control (RLC) or packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), data radio bearer (DRB) for voice/video service, signaling radio bearer (SRB) 0, SRB 1, SRB 2, multimedia telephony service (MMTEL)-voice, MMTEL-video, and voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE).
Abstract:
Provided is an operating method for acquiring system information which is to be performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: transmitting, to a serving cell, a system information acquisition failure report message that requests the transmission of compulsory system information; operating a system based on the acquired compulsory system information upon the acquisition of the compulsory system information as a response to the system information acquisition failure report message; and performing a connection recovery upon the failure of the acquisition of the compulsory system information as a response to the system information acquisition failure report message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing service-specific access control in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) acquires different sets of barring information for a voice application, a video application and other application, and decides whether or not access is allowed according to the sets of barring information for the other application if an application except the voice application and the video application is offered.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication in a wireless communication is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits a first indication indicating at least one of first information and second information, starts a timer, and transmits a second indication if the first information included in the first indication is changed while the timer is running.
Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for configuring a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device starts an onDuration timer according to a first DRX configuration and stops the onDuration timer which is running according to the first DRX configuration if a second DRX configuration is received. So that the UE can move out of the OnDuration before the expiry of the running OnDurationTimer by stopping the running onDurationTimer and apply a newly received DRX configuration.
Abstract:
Provided is an autonomous denial pattern-based operating method to be performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: acquiring an autonomous denial pattern configuration from a network, wherein the autonomous denial pattern configuration includes autonomous denial pattern period indication information and type indication information; and performing an autonomous denial operation based on the autonomous denial pattern. The autonomous denial pattern period indication information indicates the length of the autonomous denial pattern of one period. The type indication information identifies the type of each subframe in the autonomous denial pattern of said one period.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication for device-to-device (D2D) mobility or D2D connection failure in a wireless communication system is provided. A first mobile device identifies a cell for mobility of the first mobile device or a second mobile device which has a connection with the first mobile device, and indicates the connection with the second mobile device to the cell. Also, the first mobile device detects failure of the connection with the second mobile device, and indicates the failure of the connection with the second mobile device to either the second mobile device or the cell.
Abstract:
Operation of a user equipment (UE) with various timers is disclosed. According to this scheme, when the UE receives values for each of timers related with a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation from a network, the UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from subframe n+1 to subframe n+X based on a first timer among the above mentioned timers, when a first event for starting the first timer occurs at the subframe n, and monitors the PDCCH from subframe n to subframe n+X−1 based on a second timer among said timers, when a second event for starting the second timer occurs at the subframe n.
