Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with improved reliability. According to one aspect of the invention, interference experienced by onboard sensors from onboard electrical components is reduced. According to another aspect of the invention, user-configuration or assembly of electrical components is minimized to reduce user errors.

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes one or more processors individually or collectively configured to assess a location of the UAV, calculate a distance between the UAV and a flight-restricted region using the location of the UAV, assess whether the distance falls within a first distance threshold, and instruct the UAV to take a flight response measure selected from (1) a first flight response measure when the distance falls within the first distance threshold, and (2) a second flight response measure different from the first flight response measure when the distance falls outside the first distance threshold. The first flight response measure at least includes causing the UAV to descend or hover over a location. A rate at which the UAV descends is determined based on the location of the UAV.

Abstract: An aircraft control system and control method are disclosed. The system comprises a remote control apparatus with a first control rod and a flight controller associated with an aircraft. The first control rod is configured to move in a first movement direction to control a motion of the aircraft in a first motion direction when an external force is applied on the first control rod and after a withdrawal of the external force, the first control rod returns to a preset position. The remote control apparatus operates to generate one or more control signals corresponding to the withdrawal of the external force. The flight controller controls the aircraft to maintain a flight state based on said control signals and one or more state signals, which are generated based on a measurement of the flight state by a flight controller associated with the aircraft state measurement sensors carried by the aircraft.

Abstract: A micro inertial measurement system includes a housing, a sensing module, and a damper. The sensing module includes a rigid sensing support, a measuring and controlling circuit board mounted on the rigid sensing support and an inertial sensor set on the measuring and controlling circuit board. The inertial sensor includes a gyroscope and an accelerometer. The sensing module is mounted in the housing. The damper is mounted in the housing and set in the gap between the sensing module and the inside wall of the housing. By use of the above-mentioned structure, the noise immunity of the inertial measuring system can be greatly improved, and the volume and weight of the inertial measuring system can be greatly reduced.
