摘要: A preference-information gathering system is capable of gathering information on every commodity and/or every service, which are each of interest to a user, as user's preference information. The preference-information gathering system includes a user portable terminal (102) capable of storing a user identifier uniquely identifying the user, an information searching apparatus (104) and a preference-information management apparatus (114) for managing the information on preferences with the user. The information searching apparatus (104) has a search-information inputting unit (108) for requesting a user to enter search information to be used in a process to search for information desired by the user and a user-identifier acquisition unit (110) for acquiring a user identifier. The information searching apparatus (104) transmits information found in a search process requested by the user as the desired information on a commodity and/or a service and the user identifier to the preference-information management apparatus by associating the information and the identifier with each other.

摘要: The present invention can correct, when a printing position is displaced by an inclination of a printing head for example, the displacement in an easy and effective manner and also allows a user to easily recognize the displacement of the printing position to correct the displacement. To realize this, dots for forming a test pattern are formed by different scannings by a nozzle group including a plurality of nozzles positioned at one end side of a nozzle row and a nozzle group including a plurality of nozzles positioned at the other end side of the nozzle row. Depending on displacements of the printing positions of these dots, the plurality of nozzles constituting the nozzle row are divided to a plurality of divided nozzle groups. Then, the printing position is adjusted on the basis of the divided nozzle groups.

摘要: A lens array (38) is mounted on the front surface of an optical fiber array (32) holding optical fibers (35, 36) for input and emission. The lens array (38) includes: an input lens (40a) for converting a signal light (45) emitted from the optical fiber (35) into parallel light or converged light; and an output lens (40b) for converging the returned parallel light and connecting it to the optical fiber (36). A rectangular prism (34) having a form of a rectangular equilateral triangle is arranged in front of the optical fiber array (32) having the lens array (38). The signal light (45) emitted from the optical fiber (35) is totally reflected twice by the rectangular prism (34) and comes into the optical fiber (36). A transparent rectangular rotary block (33) is arranged between the lens array (38) and the rectangular prism (34). The outgoing signal light (45) and the returning signal light (45) have optical axis shifted by the rotary block (33) where the signal light passes. With this structure, it is possible to obtain a small-size variable light attenuator having a high control accuracy of the attenuation quantity of the signal light and a high resolution.

摘要: A photocatalyst-containing silicone resin composition is provided, which can be baked at a relatively low temperature (e.g., approximately 100° C.) to form a film having high transparency, durability and photocatalysis. This composition comprises TiO2, a Zr containing compound, a hydrolyzable silicone resin and a Si containing compound containing SiO2 particles. A content of the Zr containing compound in terms of its oxide is 0.005 to 0.1 parts by weight with respect to 1 part by weight of TiO2. A content of the Si containing compound in terms of its oxide is 0.5. to 6.0 parts by weight with respect to 1 part by weight of TiO2. A content of the SiO2 particles is 0.1 to 3 parts by weight with respect to 1 part by weight in terms of an oxide of the hydrolyzable silicone resin.

摘要: A D/A converter has a serial interface. Of the sets of the data representing multiple control signals output from latch circuits, the data representing input data, the data representing strobe signal, and the data representing clock signal are supplied to the D/A converter. A mask circuit is provided in the path supplying the strobe signal. When a parity detection circuit detects a transmission error, the mask circuit masks the strobe signal to be supplied to the D/A converter, thereby preventing the D/A converter from outputting an analog output signal corresponding to the input data.
