摘要: A transmitter-receiver comprises a transmitter, a transmitter circuit, a receiver circuit, a receiver, a jack, and a switch. The transmitter circuit converts a first audio signal to a transmit signal and transmits the transmit signal. The receiver circuit extracts a second audio signal from a received signal. The jack is adapted to be connected with a plug of an external transmitter-receiver. The switch is on/off controlled dependent on whether or not the jack of the external transmitter-receiver is connected with the plug. The switch, when the jack is not connected with the plug, supplies the first audio signal from the transmitter to the transmitter circuit and also supplies the second audio signal from the receiver circuit selectively to the receiver. Further, the switch, when the jack is connected with the plug, supplies an input signal from the external transmitter-receiver to the transmitter circuit through the connected plug and jack and also supplies the second audio signal from the receiver circuit selectively to the external transmitter-receiver through the connected jack and plug.

摘要: A printer, for printing on continuous recording paper, includes tractors disposed in the recording paper feed path of the printer, with each of the tractors circumferentially travelling in synchronism with movement of the continuous recording paper when the tractors engage feed holes of the continuous paper. When no printing operation is performed, travel of the tractors can be prevented by operation of an electromagnetic clutch, or a combination of one way clutches. Further, the printer uses an electrophotographic method wherein when no printing operation is performed, a transfer charger or fixing roller can be retracted from an operational position. A lever, associated with movement of the transfer charge or fixing roller, is pressed against and locked with the pulley fixed to the rotating shaft of each of the tractors to thereby prohibit the movement of the tractor. Further, a swingable arm can be provided having an engaging projection capable of being locked with the feed holes of the continuous recording paper. The swingable arm is swung in association with the movement of the transfer charger or fixing roller, which can be retracted from the operational position when no printing operation is performed. Thus, the engaging projection is engaged with the feed hole of the continuous recording paper to thereby regulate the movement of the continuous recording paper.

摘要: A structure is provided capable of electrically connecting a terminal member to a rotatable member, which is rotatably supported by a fixed member in an electrophotographic imaging device. In the structure, a first member secured to the rotatable member and rotated therewith and a second member secured to the fixed member are provided. The first and second members are conductive and electrically connected with each other. Further, the terminal member is engaged with the second member so that the terminal member is electrically connected to the rotatable member via the first and second members.

摘要: A vehicle security system includes a portable transmitter remote control unit for transmitting an arming signal or a disarming signal, a receiver unit mounted on the vehicle for receiving the arming or disarming signal from the transmitter unit, a detector for detecting the gear shift lever park position, an arming-signal reception monitor unit capable of receiving the arming signal from the transmitter unit only if the gear shift lever is in "park", and only if the vehicle door has just been opened and then closed and a security control unit activated to arm the system in response to the arming signal transmitted from the transmitter unit only when the arming-signal reception monitor unit can receive the arming signal. Since the transmission lever cannot be in the "park" position while the vehicle is in motion, the system cannot be armed by the accidental operation of the transmitter unit while the vehicle is in motion.

摘要: An ink jet printing apparatus is disclosed in which part of ink droplets ejected from a nozzle of an ink ejection head and unused for printing purpose is caught by a gutter and returned to an ink supply source through an ink circulation path to be reused. The ink is partly shunted for disposal while fresh ink is supplied to the ink supply source in proportion to the amount of ink disposal, thereby maintaining the ink viscosity always at a proper value. For the disposal of the ink, a three-way solenoid operated valve is opened periodically for a predetermined period of time or, alternatively, ink droplets ejected from the nozzle are deflected to be caught by a gutter which is independent of the first gutter for routing to disposal means. The amount of disposal is determined by a pressure of ink fed to the nozzle and/or a temperature of ink in the neighborhood of the nozzle.
