摘要: An apparatus and a method are disclosed for manufacturing a laminated product. The method includes the steps of punching out components from a plate with a punch and a die and accommodating the punched components in a component accommodating cylindrical member, emitting a laser beam with a laser beam emitting device to a portion between adjacent components. The components are laminated, one on the other, in the component accommodating cylindrical member. The laser beam passes through a beam passage hole formed in the peripheral surface of the component accommodating cylindrical member. The beam passage hole is located through a predetermined rotational angle range of the component accommodating cylindrical member so as to weld the components to manufacture the laminated product. Also, the die and the component accommodating cylindrical member are rotated by a predetermined angle during the welding operation.

摘要: A method of driving a liquid crystal display device for converting a composite video signal into RGB analog video signals by a chrominance circuit, and controlling the transmittance of each pixel corresponding to each color or red, green and blue on a liquid crystal panel based on the voltage levels of the RGB analog video signals so as to perform color display. The method includes the steps of detecting a color saturation of a picture based on the composite video signal, and controlling the transmittance of a liquid crystal panel based on the transmittance characteristic (T-V curve a) of each pixel relative to normal RGB analog video signals in the case that the color saturation is less than a predetermined value. Based on the transmittance characteristic (T-V curve b) of each pixel relative to RGB analog video signals at the voltage levels where the transmittance of each pixel of the liquid crystal panel reaches the maximum value are set to be less than normal values, in the case that the color saturation is higher than the predetermined value. As a result, color saturation of a display of the liquid crystal panel is more enhanced than the actual color saturation of the RGB analog video signals in a picture portion having high color saturation, thereby improving color reproducibility.

摘要: When an LED lighting apparatus which is a lighter load than an incandescent lamp or halogen lamp is connected to a dimmer, a malfunction may occur. The invention prevents the occurrence of such malfunction without defeating the purpose of low power consumption of the LED lighting apparatus. More specifically, the LED lighting apparatus includes a rectifier circuit, a light-emitting circuit connected to the rectifier circuit and containing a single or a plurality of LEDs in which current begins to flow when an output voltage of the rectifier circuit exceeds a threshold voltage, and a bypass circuit having a bypass path for making the current flow to the rectifier circuit without passing through the light-emitting circuit, and a detecting unit for detecting the current flowing through the light-emitting circuit, and wherein when the current detected by the detecting unit exceeds a predetermined value, the bypass circuit shuts off the current flowing through the bypass path.

摘要: A row of rich-side flame holes is centrally arranged. Two rows of lean-side flame holes are arranged on both sides of the rich-side flame hole row, respectively. In addition, two rows of rich-side flame holes are arranged on the outsides of the two lean-side flame hole rows, respectively. A lower end part of a central rich-side burner part is projected into a tubular part into which the rich-side mixture is introduced, and communication holes in fluid communication with an inner space are formed in walls on both sides so as to pass completely therethrough in alignment with each other. Each communication hole has a larger diameter than an inner width P and is disposed at a potion situated nearer to the upper of the tubular part and nearer to the front so as to leave, at the rear, a space in which dust p particles are accumulated.

摘要: When update information with respect to a first database or a second database is received, a database update control apparatus updates the first database or the second database on the basis of the update information. When updating the first database or the second database, the database update control apparatus associates pre-update data with an identifier that is added to the update information and retains them for each database. The database update control apparatus extracts, for each database from among the retained identifiers, an identifier that indicates the latest update information and specifies, from the extracted identifiers, an identifier that is the oldest updated identifier. The database update control apparatus reflects pre-update data associated with an identifier that is newer than that specified in a corresponding database out of the first database and the second database.
