A reusable gasket may be configured for use between first and second collapsible containers of a shelter. The gasket may have a body configured to seal at least a portion of a seam defined between the first and second collapsible containers. The gasket may include at least one magnet embedded in the body. A reusable plug configured to be disposed into a cavity defined by a collapsible container may have a body configured to be compressibly secured in the cavity. The body of the plug may be made of compressible foam.

Systems and methods for providing enhancement of upload and/or download performance based on client and/or server feedback information are disclosed. In an embodiment, the disclosed method detects that a data transfer event is about to occur and based on a set of characteristics associated with the data transfer event, selects a host from a group of hosts as a pathway for transferring data associated with the data transfer event to optimize data transfer performance. The group of hosts can include a server providing cloud-based collaboration and/or storage services, one or more content delivery network servers and/or geographically distributed edge servers.

Systems and methods are provided for managing functionalities associated with a dynamic information region of an electronic device. The information region can update with indications of various applications in response to various triggers. Further, the information region can detect selections by a user of the electronic device and display functions associated with the selected application in response to detecting the selections. The user can use various gestures to select the application of the information region or a function of the application, and the electronic device can initiate the application according to the selection. In embodiments, the content in the information region can update from within an application based on switches among interface screens of the application, the receipt of external or internal notifications, user interactions, and/or the like.

Techniques are disclosed for methods, architectures and security mechanisms for a third-party application to access content in a cloud-based platform. In one embodiment, a method includes, receiving, at the third-party application, metadata that identifies the file. The method further includes transmitting the metadata to a server which is associated with the third-party application. The metadata enables the server to request the file from the cloud-based environment.

Techniques are disclosed for using a third-party application to access or edit a file within a cloud-based environment within a cloud-based platform or environment. In one embodiment, a method includes, in the cloud-based environment, responsive to detecting a request to access or edit a file using the third-party application, the file is provided for access or edit using the third-party application. The third-party application includes a user interface which is customized to enable storage of the accessed or edited file to the cloud-based environment. In some embodiments, the third-party application is allowed or restricted to store the accessed file back to the cloud-based environment.

Skill game apparatuses include one or more game piece guiding elements configured to influence movement of game pieces within a game piece path in a manner that is dependent at least in part upon the skill of the player. In one embodiment, the back portion of a skill game apparatus is provided with one or more guide channels configured to limit horizontal movement by a game piece as it moves from the top of the back portion to a base portion of the skill game apparatus. In another embodiment, the skill game apparatus includes one or more player-repositionable guide members along a game piece path that are moveable in response to inputs provided by one or more player-operated controller devices.

A contents receiving device may automatically receive contents, and a recording medium may store a contents receiving program. The contents receiving device may refer to an agent table, receive contents having the greatest weight of the agent having the least preference deviation as a top priority from a contents providing server or a P2P network, and store the contents in a contents storage unit. Therefore, the contents receiving device and a device for operating the contents receiving program may automatically download contents satisfying the user's preference. Further, the devices may allow easy finding of user preferences on the contents and similarities on contents preference with respective agents.

A security procedure for invoking IPsec security for communication of a packet in a network includes the steps of generating a message to be sent at the transport layer, building Internet Protocol and Transport Control Protocol headers for the message, selecting a security policy in accordance with a security policy database after the step of building Internet Protocol and Transport Control Protocol headers, and processing the packet according to the selected security policy.

A container and method for storage and retrieval of children's toys and other items. The container includes an opening at the top and one or more hand port openings on the side walls. The hand port openings and walls may be transparent or translucent. An adult places the items through the top opening for storage and a child can then easily reach through a hand port to retrieve a desired item. The container allows for easy storage and organization of items, as well as easy retrieval by a child.

To present a compact global information providing system which can provide necessary global information without an expensive device in real-time for condition changeable objects, the global information providing system is comprised of a first processing system for positional computing with the global information data and output the result, a second processing system for processing the global information data from the weather or remote sensing satellites and outputs the image data, and a third processing system including a memory unit for storing the image data of aerial photograph or video image, wherein the first processing system is provided with a collelator which determines the time difference based on C/A code included in the global information data sent from the positioning satellites and position computing unit which performs positional computing based on the time difference data determined by the collelator and outputs the result, the second processing system is provided with a wavelength/reflectance correlator for generating a spectroscopic curve of wavelength and reflectance for global information data sent from the weather or remote sensing satellites and a correction unit for correcting the data with respect to noise and distortion caused by sensors or scanners of satellites, and temperature and light amount in data transmission space.
