A flue gas condenser condenses the cleaned flue gas. A flue gas compression unit produces a stream of pressurized carbon dioxide rich flue gas. A pressure control system measures and controls the pressure after the flue gas conditioning system to a predetermined set value. A flow control system measures and controls the flow after the flue gas compression unit to a predetermined set value. The present disclosure further relates to a method of operating such a boiler system for an oxy-fuel process as well as to a power plant comprising such a system.

    摘要: A system and method is provided for removing a condensate from a synthetic gas treatment system. The method includes feeding a first fluid stream into a bottom section of a scrubber chamber defined by a scrubber shell of a scrubber. The first fluid stream includes at least one condensable component. A second fluid stream is fed into a top section of the scrubber chamber, such that the second fluid stream flows in the scrubber chamber in a countercurrent flow direction to the first fluid stream. The second fluid stream contacts the first fluid stream causing the at least one condensable component to form the condensate, such that the condensate and the second fluid stream are collected in the bottom section of the scrubber chamber. The method further includes feeding a third fluid stream into the top section of the scrubbing chamber, such that the third fluid stream contacts the condensate and the second fluid stream and forms an emulsion. At least a portion of the emulsion including the condensate flows from the synthetic gas treatment system.

    摘要: The method and system for methane separation and purification from a biogas includes collecting a raw Biogas gas stream having methane, carbon dioxide, water, sulfur compounds and non-methane organic compound (NMOC) constituents. The Biogas stream is fed into the intake of a liquid sulfur scrubber or a sulfur adsorber unit where the Biogas is separated into a main gas stream routed downstream in the system and a sulfur compounds stream removed from the system. The main gas stream is then processed by an NMOC absorber and further downstream, by an NMOC adsorber. NMOC produced by both NMOC processes is liquefied, removed from the system and stored. Upstream from the NMOC processes, the main gas stream is processed by at least one CO2, N2, O2 gas separation unit that produces a usable product stream of enriched methane gas, and an off-gas stream, which a VPSAU processes for venting and recycling.
