Abstract:
The utility cart has a first pair of corner posts, a second pair of corners posts, a shelf, a front support bar, a pair of parallel side support bars, and a back support bar, which is particularly suited for supporting a drawstring garment bag for receiving garments being dispatched from a conveyor dryer. For added support and rigidity, the utility cart is also provided with a pair of parallel side support bars, each side support bar extending from a first corner post to a second corner post. For added ease of movement, the utility cart can also be provided with swivel-wheel caster assemblies on each of the four posts. The utility cart and drawstring garment bag can be provided as a kit along with a wedge member and a set of size separators.
Abstract:
A stacked arrangement of travel coolers including a plurality of travel coolers arranged in a series of stacking pairs and a method of stacking the travel coolers. Each travel cooler includes a base with a bottom surface, a pair of wheels mounted to the base, an insulated container, a front end of the base and a rear end of the base. Each stacking pair includes an upper travel cooler disposed on top of a lower travel cooler. The bottom surface of the base of the upper travel cooler rests upon the bottom surface of the base of the lower travel cooler. Alternatively, a surface of a lid of the upper travel cooler rests upon a surface of a lid of the lower travel cooler. The front end of the upper travel cooler is disposed over and generally aligned with the rear end of the lower travel cooler.
Abstract:
A refrigeration/rethermalization food service system includes a food service cart having hot and cold chambers for receiving pre-plated foods. A hot air plenum is provided along a sidewall of the cart in the hot chamber, and a cold air plenum is provided along a sidewall of the cold chamber. To rethermalize foods in the hot chamber, heated air is forced into the hot air plenum from a docking station, and the heated air is evenly distributed from the plenum into the hot chamber. To refrigerate foods in the cold chamber, chilled air is forced into the cold air plenum from the docking station, and the chilled air is evenly distributed from the plenum into the cold chamber. The substantially uniformly distributed convective air currents provide substantially even heating and cooling of foods located in all portions of the hot and cold chambers.
Abstract:
A system of transport carts are positioned in side by side relation in fore and aft extending spaced apart rows disposed along a delivery van to leave an aisle between them. The carts have wheel supported upright frames with bottom supports for the products disposed at a level above the floor of the van and open fronts with front decks movable from a stowed retracted position to a generally horizontal operative position adjacent the bottom supports. The decks are movable into generally abutting relation to form a raised false floor between the rows of carts on which hand trucks can travel.

Abstract:
A dual ergonomic platform truck includes a frame assembly having a pair of first and second segments, a pair of guide rods each having a first end connected to one of the first segments and a second end connected to one of the second segments. A pair of platform assemblies are moveable along the pair of guide rods respectively. Each platform assembly includes a deck guide that receives the guide rod and a platform that is connected to the deck guide and is constructed to hold items. Each platform assembly also includes a first linear bearing that is received within the deck guide and a spring support bracket connected to the deck guide. A pair of springs are used to lift the pair of platform assemblies respectively. Each spring is connected to the first and second segments of the frame assembly. The platform truck may also include a self-aligning platform assembly. A handtruck includes a frame assembly, at pair of wheels, a guide rod, a platform assembly that is moveable along the guide rod, and a spring that provides a lifting force to the platform assembly. The handtruck may also include a latch system for use in preventing the platform assembly from moving along the guide rod and a hydraulic cylinder or frictional dampers for use in damping (slowing) the spring force as it is applied to the platform assembly.
Abstract:
There is provided a moveable cart for use in transporting a male hog past one or more rows of cages containing sows to permit the determination of estrus in the sows and also to increase the success rate during artificial insemination by permitting snout to snout contact between the sow and male hog, the cart having a base with wheels mounted thereon, at least one wall extending upwardly from the base, and at least one panel for blocking visual access in at least one direction between the interior and exterior of the cart and at least one opening in the wall sized to permit the snout of the male hog to at least partially extend therethrough.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a box-like transport container having at least one partially open side and a flexible covering element movable between an opened and a closed position. The box-like transport container preferably has a flexible covering element that in an opened position of the container is located close to an upright. In a preferred embodiment the flexible covering element can be rolled up or folded up.
Abstract:
Handling truck having a platform including two U-section side members constituting two sides of the platform. Two U-section supports are mounted on each side member and arranged in facing relation to each other so as to receive vertical grills in the recesses defined by the flanges of the U-section supports. Several similar truck platforms can be stacked on each other by engagement of outer flanges of their U-section side members in the recesses of the U-section supports of another handling truck platform.
