Abstract: A system for converting an existing hand push wheelbarrow to a powered wheelbarrow by way of a single unit kit that comprises a motorized wheel, a battery, and all other necessary electrical components. The system includes wheel brackets with mounting holes sized to fit most standard wheelbarrows, so that the original passive wheel can be easily removed, and the Kit installed using the same mounting hardware. The larger of the two mounting brackets supports the component case with the battery and the motor controller, and acts as the heat sink for all the heat generating electronics within the case. This enables the entire system to be sealed and waterproof. The Kit is intended to be used in situations where heavy loads need to be transported by wheelbarrow over bumpy ground or up inclines, and motorized assistance to propel the wheelbarrow may be needed.

Abstract: A kit for motorizing a golf bag cart, a motorized golf bag cart, and a method of motorizing a golf bag cart are disclosed herein. The kit can include brackets having clamps, a golf cart drive unit, and a remote control. Each bracket is used to replace a rear wheel assembly of a non-motorized golf bag cart. The clamps are used to attach the golf drive unit to the cart. The remote control is used to control and steer the cart via the attached golf cart drive unit. The golf cart drive unit includes two motors, two axles, two wheels and an axle aligning member. The axles slide relative to the axle aligning member to accommodate golf bag carts having different rear wheel spacing.

Abstract: Driving wheels and non-driving wheels are installed to a lower portion of a case body. The driving wheels are driven by drive devices, respectively. A control device controls a drive operation of the drive devices. An angle sensing device senses a tilt angle of the case body about a rotational axis of the driving wheels. In a case where the tilt angle of the case body, which is sensed with the angle sensing device, is equal to or larger than a predetermined tilt angle in a state where the driving wheels contact a ground while the non-driving wheels are lifted away from the ground, the control device controls the drive devices in such a manner that the case body is held in a self-standing state with the driving wheels while keeping the non-driving wheel away from the ground.

Abstract: An auxiliary pusher device for pushing a wheeled cart along a surface, the cart equipped with a handle for pushing the cart. The device includes an adjustable length chassis, a grip element connected to the chassis for engaging and gripping the handle of the cart, a drive wheel connected to the chassis, and a motor engaged with the drive wheel. The motor is operative to apply a drive force to the drive wheel, thereby applying a corresponding drive force to the chassis and via the grip element to the cart. The drive force includes a force component substantially parallel to the surface causing the cart to move on the surface. A hand grip is connected to the chassis allowing a user of the device to guide the direction of the cart. A parking station for the device and a method for use of the device is also discussed.
