    摘要: Methods and systems for indexing signal option selections are disclosed. The signal options can be any of a variety of options that permit the establishment of a communication link, including modulation format, coding rate, precoding index and assigned subbands. The selected options can be represented as a vector and the index can be determined by employing a worth function for a particular selected vector element that is dependent on a selection occurrence count of the element and on an element position count of the element. In particular, the index can be the summation of worth function values for each selected element.

    摘要: A system of frequency allocation for a user access local area network, and uplink and downlink transmission methods thereof are provided. The system of frequency allocation for a user access local area network comprises: an information processing apparatus, a switch, a plurality of first modulators, a broadband high frequency synthesizer, a downlink amplifier, a plurality of trunk splitters, a plurality of branch splitters, a plurality of user terminal digital high frequency demodulators, a plurality of user terminal modulators, a plurality of trunk mixers, a plurality of branch mixers, an uplink amplifier, a broadband high frequency allocator and a plurality of first demodulators. The present invention uses a new communication resource configuration technology with high transparency in which every user is provided with his dedicated communication channel regardless of its busy/idle status. In addition, the present invention adopts a new physical layout construction of the user access LAN with a high frequency broadband, a high speed, and a large capacity in which passive operations without relay amplification can be achieved in the main trunk. Therefore, the seamless communication resource utilization is achieved, and the operation and communication service technology is provided which is suitable to the operation custom of the public so as to be easily learned and propagation.

    摘要: A telemetry system includes many radio transmitters using frequency hopping carriers to intermittently transmit transmissions indicative of status of sensors associated with the transmitters. The transmitters transmit transmissions independently of a receiver receiving the transmissions and independently of each other. The carrier frequency and the time between transmissions are changed according to a frequency-time hopping sequence that is different for each transmitter. The sequences and the resulting frequency ad time hopping are predictable and can be reproduced in the receiver based on the transmitter ID number. The system also includes one or more receivers containing a plurality of memory registers to hold, simultaneously for each transmitter, digital data indicative of (a) expected time and (b) expected frequency of the next transmission occurrence. The data is updated based on the time and the content of the received transmissions. The receiver authenticates the received transmissions by discriminating transmissions received at a wrong frequency and time. In addition, each transmitter encrypts the transmission using a variable encryption key that is varied with each transmission. The key variations are based on the frequency and time hopping sequence and are different for each transmitter. Alternatively, prior to encryption, each transmitter modifies data for transmission, using a modifier that is varied based on the frequency and time hopping sequence that is different for each transmitter. In addition, for faster acquisition and robust operation, the receiver includes and RSSI circuit based on FFT to detect transmitted carrier power at several different frequencies. The receiver also includes one or more frequency selective circuits that are tuned in response to the outputs from FFT and the status of the time and frequency registers.

The predetermined plurality of frequency bands are independent of each other and an order of transmission of the predetermined plurality of frequency bands being irrelevant, unlike the dependency in spectral keying. The present invention frees up the order of the frequency bands being transmitted, so that they can be used for channelization, security or other purposes and requires less complicated circuitry at the receiver end.

In the method and system, an analog signal is received. A stream of data samples is created from the analog signal.
