摘要: Apparatuses, methods, program products, and systems for emulating end-host forwarding behavior is disclosed. A data module receives a data packet at an ingress port of a network switch. The data packet includes a source address and a destination address. The network switch includes ports designated as uplink ports and different ports designated as server ports. An update module creates an entry in the forwarding database based on the data packet. The entry for the data packet includes the source address and either an undefined server port and an undefined uplink port in response to the ingress port being an uplink port where an undefined port includes an identifier for a port that does not exist, or the ingress port and one of the one or more uplink ports in response to the ingress port being a server port. A transmission module forwards the packet to a destination address.

摘要: A method and apparatus for giving a prompt about a touch input operation is disclosed. A method comprises: displaying a graphic user interface (GUI), wherein a touch input operation prompt corresponding to at least one GUI widget is displayed on the GUI; receiving a touch input operation, wherein the received touch input operation is one of the touch input operations that are prompted on the GUI; executing a command represented by the GUI widget corresponding to the received touch input operation. The method and apparatus may give prompts about touch input operations corresponding to GUI widgets when running a GUI, so that users may execute commands represented by those GUI widgets intuitively using touch input operations.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for providing link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) to a distributed fabric includes sending a neighbor synchronization request message from a master node to one or more member nodes connected to the master node, the neighbor synchronization request message including a request for a recipient member node to send its LLDP neighbor information to the master node, receiving a neighbor synchronization update message at the master node from at least one of the one or more member nodes, the neighbor synchronization update message including information about local LLDP neighbors of the one or more member nodes, and storing the information about the local LLDP neighbors from the at least one of the one or more member nodes in a LLDP neighbors database of the master node.

摘要: An apparatus includes a power supply configured to supply power and a first electrical circuit breaker electrically coupled to the power supply. The apparatus includes a first electrical circuit electrically coupled to receive power from the power supply through the first electrical circuit breaker. The apparatus includes a second electrical circuit breaker electrically coupled to the power supply and a second electrical circuit. During operation of the apparatus, in response to detection that at least one of the current and the voltage of the power has exceeded the operating threshold for the first electrical circuit, the power supply and the first electrical circuit breaker are configured to power off, wherein the shutting off of the power supply prevents supplying the power from the power supply to the second electrical circuit breaker that is electrically coupled to the second electrical circuit to receive the power from the power supply.

An external power source is provided to the first device. In response to the external power source providing power to the first device, the first device changes from the first charging mode to a second charging mode. In response to the first device changing to the second charging mode, the charging radius of the first device changes from the first chargeable radius to a second chargeable radius.

摘要: Water is circulated through a cooling system within a compute node to remove heat from a heat-generating component within the compute node. Water leakage from the cooling system is collected into a containment reservoir within the compute node. A rate of the water leakage is measured, a temperature of the compute node is measured, a rate of water evaporation from the containment reservoir is determined based upon the measured temperature, and the rate of water leakage is compared to the rate of water evaporation to determine whether water is accumulating in the containment reservoir. A period of time before the containment reservoir reaches a critical level may also be determined.
