The duplexer includes a transmit filter connected between an antenna terminal and a transmit terminal, and a splitter circuit and a receive filter connected in series between the antenna terminal and the receive terminal. The splitter circuit includes at least one phaseline connected between the antenna terminal and the receive filter and at least one resonator connected in parallel with the phaseline. According to the present invention, the length of the phaseline can be made shorter, so the entire duplexer can be made more compact in size. In addition, an inductors are preferably connected between each ends of the phaseline and the resonator. In this case, the inductance of a wire or via formed within the package can be used.

The surface acoustic wave device comprises a piezoelectric substrate (1) and a pair of interdigitated electrodes (2) provided on one main surface of the piezoelectric substrate (1). As the material of the piezoelectric substrate (1), a single crystal belonging to the point group 32, having a crystal structure of Ca3Ga2Ge4O14 type, containing Ca, Nb, Ga, Si and O as main components, and being represented by the chemical formula Ca3NbGa3Si2O14 is used. The cut angle of the substrate (1) and the propagation direction can be selected as appropriate to thereby realize the substrate (1) which has a large electromechanical coupling coefficient that is effective to achieve a wider passband and a low SAW velocity that is effective to reduce the size of a surface acoustic wave device.

The invention improves the assembly operation of a connector provided with a detecting member. A female housing 20 is provided with a locking arm 33 capable of engaging with a locking protrusion 14 of a male housing 10. A detecting member 50 capable of moving in an anterior-posterior direction is attached to an upper face of this locking arm 33. The detecting member 50 has an operating member 53 joined to a posterior end of a main body 51 by a hinge 52. A finger engages from the posterior with the operating member 53 to push in the detecting member 50, this detecting member 50 being pushed in its direction of fitting in an inclined downwards direction. When the detecting member 50 is in a waiting position, the operating member 53 thereof is located above a posterior portion of the upper face of the locking arm 33. This posterior portion of the upper face of the locking arm 33 has a guiding inclined face 44 formed thereon, this guiding inclined face 44 being inclined downwards in the pushing-in direction. When the detecting member 50 is being moved from the waiting position to a detecting position, the operating member 53 slides along the guiding inclined face 44, this smoothly guiding the movement thereof.

In a photosensitive material processing apparatus of the present invention, a brush roller used in a pre-water-washing section and a developing section is formed by winding a slender band wherein bristles are woven into a knitted fabric onto the peripheral surface of a roller which is a core member. This makes it possible to arrange the bristles closely and uniformly on the whole of the peripheral surface of the roller. Therefore, the brush roller can be applied to a photopolymer plate, which uses a non-polymerizable layer as a photosensitive layer and requires strong rubbing without causing brushing unevenness.

A SAW device has interdigital electrodes on a substrate, wherein the substrate is obtained by slicing a single crystal represented by the chemical formula: La3Ta0.5Ga5.5O14 (LTG) at a cut angle. The cut angle and the direction of propagation of SAW along the substrate are optimized so that the substrate may have a low SAW velocity and an increased electromechanical coupling constant. This enables to reduce the size of the SAW device and broaden the pass-band width thereof as a filter, providing satisfactory characteristics especially as a SAW filter of intermediate frequency for mobile communication terminals. The SAW device has a minimal loss since SAW energy concentrates in the propagation direction.
