    Abstract: The technologies described herein are generally directed toward facilitating indicating frequency and time domain resources in communication systems with multiple transmission points. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include determining a first and a second transmission resource to use for transmission of a signal to a user device by, respectively, a first and a second network node. The operations can further include determining that the first and the second transmission resource comprise a same transmission resource. The operations can further include communicating, to a user equipment, a value corresponding to the first transmission resource and an indication that the first and the second transmission resource comprise the same transmission resource.

    Abstract: Facilitating energy-efficient wireless communications for advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, and beyond) with low-resolution digital-to-analog converters is provided herein. Operations of a system can comprise determining first values. Respective values of the first values can be digital samples of transmission and reception chains determined based on symbols transformed from bits. The operations can also comprise facilitating a quantization of the first values resulting in second values. Facilitating the quantization can be based on a cost function associated with processing the first values. Further, the operations can comprise outputting the second values as a continuous time signal over antennas of a base station device. The second values can comprise fewer values than the first values.

    Abstract: An example method may include a processing system of a device having a processor capturing, at a first position comprising a first location and a first spatial orientation of the device, a first measurement of a performance indicator based upon at least a first wireless signal from a base station of a beamformed wireless communication network and capturing, at a second position comprising a second location and a second spatial orientation of the device, a second measurement of the performance indicator based upon at least a second wireless signal from the base station of the beamformed wireless communication network. The method may include the processing system selecting a position for a deployment of the device based upon the first measurement of the performance indicator and the second measurement of the performance indicator and providing at least one instruction for the deployment of the device at the position that is selected.

    Abstract: Aspects of the technology described herein are directed towards using generic control information in a three-party wireless communication system to schedule a data transmission and reception of the data transmission. A scheduler node transmits the generic control information, comprising identification information that identifies a user equipment device as a transmitter node, and scheduling information that schedules a data transmission. For unicast data transmissions, the generic control information further identifies a receiver node, and can schedule transmission of an ACK/NACK from the receiver node corresponding to receiving the data transmission. A control procedure can be configured in a user equipment device by linking a channel configuration dataset to a resource configuration dataset, which in turn is linked to a channel transmit and receive configuration dataset. Reconfiguration is achieved by changing the linking(s) between one or more different available datasets.

    Abstract: Time domain resource allocation is facilitated for a physical downlink shared channel. For instance, a physical downlink shared channel associated with a mobile device can be configured via a broadcast channel, and a data structure associated with the physical downlink shared channel corresponding to a physical downlink control channel can also be configured. The configured data structure can be sent to the mobile device to be utilized for physical downlink shared channel transmissions between the wireless network device and the mobile device. Additionally, the time domain resources can be allocated by transmitting a physical downlink shared channel transmission to the mobile device based on a condition associated with a radio resource control connection being determined to not have been satisfied.

    Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating a discontinuous access to unlicensed spectrum in a new radio access environment. According an embodiment, a system can comprise performing a scanning procedure that determines whether a first subband and a second subband is available for transmission. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first subband and the second subband are adjacent, wherein a first channel formed at the first subband comprising a first guard band and a second channel formed at the second subband comprising a second guard band that is adjacent to the first guard band. The system can further facilitate in response to determining that the first subband and the second subband are adjacent and available for transmission, eliminating the first guard band and the second guard band.

In one example, the system can include: a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising: generating information according to a protocol for receipt by a mobile device, wherein the information is indicative of a defined behavior of the mobile device relative to whether the mobile device is to override a reserved resource allocation applicable to a physical resource, and wherein the reserved resource allocation is indicative of whether the mobile device is authorized to communicate via the physical resource; and transmitting the information to the mobile device.
