In some examples, the UE may transmit a request for network assistance information (NAI) for candidate cells. The UE may perform the conditional serving cell change based on the NAI for one or more candidate cells. In some examples, the UE may select a target cell from the set of candidate cells, and the UE may receive a control message indicating one or more coverage enhancement schemes supported by the target cell. The UE may perform a random access procedure based on the one or more coverage enhancement schemes supported by the target cell.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information associated with a cell selection or reselection procedure, the configuration information indicating first policy information associated with cell selections and second policy information associated with radio resource management (RRM) measurements. The UE may monitor, in an idle mode, a broadcast channel associated with a first cell based at least in part on selecting the first cell in accordance with the configuration information. The UE may receive, from the first cell, system information associated with a second cell. The UE may establish a connection with the second cell based at least in part on the system information and one or more RRM measurements performed in accordance with the configuration information. In one aspect, a first network node receives waveform information from a second network node, where the waveform information includes at least one of: one or more first parameters associated with a first waveform type or one or more second parameters associated with a second waveform type. The first network node processes data based on the one or more first parameters associated with the first waveform type or the one or more second parameters associated with the second waveform type. The first network node transmits a waveform based on the processed data, where the waveform is the first waveform type or the second waveform type.
