An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for managing applications of a broadcasting reception device and a companion device connected over a network. The method may include receiving a broadcasting signal, generating an application information list variable based on application information included in the broadcasting signal, receiving an application information-obtaining action from the companion device, the application information-obtaining action being indicative of a request message for obtaining information related to at least one specific application, transmitting an application information list variable corresponding to the at least one specific application in response to the application information-obtaining action, and providing a broadcasting service based on the transmitted application information list variable.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a method of transmitting a broadcast signal. The method of transmitting the broadcast signal according to the present invention proposes a system capable of supporting a next-generation broadcast service in an environment that supports next-generation broadcasting using a terrestrial broadcast network and an Internet protocol network. In addition, the present invention proposes an efficient signaling scheme for both the terrestrial broadcasting network and the Internet protocol network in the environment that supports next-generation broadcasting.

A method for performing Audio/Video (A/V) streaming between at least one source device and at least one sink device in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a source device comprising: receiving from a sink device an A/V source discovery message for discovering information related to A/V channels that the source device supports; transmitting a response with respect to the A/V source discovery message to the sink device; receiving from the sink device information related to A/V channels selected by the sink device for A/V streaming; performing an A/V stream connection procedure for A/V streaming with the sink device; and transmitting an A/V stream to the sink device by using information related to A/V channels selected by the sink device.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus of calculating a location of an electronic device. The present invention comprises receiving a common packet from a host device, the common packet containing at least any one of frequency-related information or information on a time when a data packet is transmitted; receiving the data packet based on the information contained in the common packet, the data packet containing at least any one of location-related information or antenna-related information of the host device; obtaining angle information indicating a location relation with the host device using at least any one of the location-related information or the antenna-related information of the received data packet; and calculating the location of the electronic device based on the angle information.

Disclosed is a method for controlling a session between devices on a network including a plurality of devices, including: receiving a session control request message from a control device, wherein the session control request message represents a message for operating a session control between a first device and a second device; transmitting a triggering message for a specific control operation to the first device on the basis of the received session control request message; performing the session control between the first device and the second device by using the triggering message; and receiving a triggering response message from the first device, wherein the triggering response message indicates a result of performing the session control.
