摘要: A recording medium having a toner image formed thereon is moved to pass through a press contact portion between an endless belt being heated and an pressure roller pressed against the endless belt. When passing through the press contact portion, the toner image is fused and permanently affixed onto the recording medium. An oil application width O of an oil application roller is shorter than belt width B of the endless belt, and a maximum passing width P of a recording medium that may be supplied for the image formation, but is longer than a maximum image-forming width I within which an image may be formed on the recording medium.

摘要: In a decarbonation process for removing carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas with the use of an amine compound-containing absorbing solution, an amine compound accompanying a decarbonated exhaust gas is efficiently recovered in the following manner: A water washing section is constituted in two stages, a first-stage water washing section 64 and a second-stage water washing section 65. In these water washing sections, recovery of the amine compound accompanying the decarbonated exhaust gas is performed sequentially. Regeneration tower refluxed water is supplied as washing water to the second-stage water washing section 65. Washing water is withdrawn from the second-stage water washing section 65 and supplied to the first-stage water washing section 64. Demisters 83, 84 and 85 are provided at outlets of a carbon dioxide absorption section 73, the first-stage water washing section 64 and the second-stage water washing section 65. An absorbing solution mist and a washing water mist accompanying the decarbonated exhaust gas are removed by these demisters.

摘要: A charge coupled device of the present invention includes a charge transfer region layer and a gate insulation film that are formed in the stated order on a semiconductor substrate, first gate electrodes formed at predetermined spaces on the gate insulation film, and second gate electrodes arranged between the first gate electrodes with at least silicon oxide films being interposed therebetween. Each silicon oxide film has constricted portions where the silicon oxide film is in contact with the gate insulation film, and electric insulation films are formed on the constricted portions so as to form sidewalls. This configuration increases the charge transfer efficiency and increases a dielectric breakdown voltage between gate electrodes. Thus a charge coupled device having high performance and high dielectric strength is provided.

摘要: The data of the partial images of an original output from an original input scanning device is converted by an image reducing section into reduced images of data in accordance with the size of duplication. Each reduced image of data is stored in a data storage. A pattern matching section compares adjoining reduced partial images of data as to the overlapping image data, to check the congruency therebetween. Based on this judgement result, an address setting section generates a joining position address corresponding to the joining position in each storage area. A data output control section loads the adjoining reduced partial images of data stored in respective storage areas, in a sequentially, joinable manner, so that an image forming section forms a duplicated image of the original on a predetermined recording medium in accordance with the reduced image data.

摘要: An IC card includes a card body, a memory section buried inside the card body and adapted to store data information and control information, and an interface section. The interface section inputs the data information to be stored in the memory section and outputs the data information stored in the memory section. The interface section also outputs the control information stored in the memory section. The memory section stores control information including card maker identification information to be reported to the outside. Therefore, it becomes possible to automatically identify the maker of each IC card, so that the IC card, the IC card reading/writing apparatus, etc., can be procured from multiple vendors when an IC card system is constructed.

摘要: An apparatus for electrophoresis includes not only a transparent device for electrophoresis such as a microchip or a capillary having a flow route, a power source for applying a voltage difference between end points of the flow route, an irradiating device for irradiating a specified portion of the flow route with light and an optical detector having a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged along the flow route for detecting absorption or emission of light by sample components separated in the flow route, but also a display device and a control unit for causing the display device to display data on the sample components separated in the flow route as a gel image based on detection signals from the optical detector while electrophoresis is being carried out by the apparatus. The gel image is for showing the sample components in a band form along the flow route, and the display device may also be adapted to display an electropherogram, showing absorptivity of light by or intensity of emitted light from the separated sample components along the flow route based also on the detection signals. Both the electropherogram and the gel image may show positions along the flow route in common.
