    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a serving cell, an uplink positioning reference signal (UL-PRS) resource configuration, the UL-PRS resource configuration comprising a plurality of N resource elements (REs) staggered in frequency across a plurality of M consecutive symbols of a resource block (RB) such that the plurality of N REs spans a plurality of N consecutive subcarriers of the RB, receives, from the serving cell, an indication of a PRS symbol cancelation group to be used for uplink cancelation, the PRS symbol cancelation group identifying a set of the plurality of M consecutive symbols that is expected to be canceled for uplink transmission, and cancels transmission of UL-PRS on one or more of the set of L symbols identified by the PRS symbol cancelation group.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One or more anchor nodes, which may be sidelink devices, may transmit positioning reference signals (PRSs) to a wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE). The UE may select one or more PRSs to process based on respective priorities of the PRSs. At least one anchor node may transmit a priority indication including the respective priorities, or the one or more anchor nodes may transmit the PRSs according to a scrambling sequence or pattern to implicitly indicate the respective priorities. The UE may decode one or more PRSs based on the respective priorities.

    Abstract: A target user equipment (UE) identifies other UEs that are available for a positioning reference signal (PRS) exchange for sidelink assisted positioning of the target UE. The target UE may provide to a network entity, such as a location server, the identifications of the UEs that are available for the sidelink-assisted positioning of the target UE. The network, entity may generate and provide for sidelink-assisted positioning the PRS configurations for UEs, which may include the one or more UEs recommended by the target UE. The target UE may provide a list of UEs, in response to a request from the network entity, in response to receipt of a network generated list provided to the target UE, or in response to a determination that PRS measurements based on previously acquired UE PRS configurations are inadequate. The sidelink-assisted positioning may be used when the target UE is present in a null-zone.

    Abstract: The position of a target user equipment (UE) is determined using an anchor UE and sidelink communication signals transmitted from the target UE to the anchor UE. During a positioning session, the anchor UE receives from the target UE sidelink communication signals, such as data signals and/or data related reference signals. The anchor UE performs positioning measurements for the sidelink communication signals from the target UE, such as timing based, angle based, or power based measurements. The anchor UE provides the positioning measurements of the sidelink communication signals to a location server, which may use the positioning measurements, along with a known position of the anchor UE to determine the position of the target UE.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a plurality of downlink positioning reference signals (DL-PRS) transmitted by a corresponding plurality of cells, wherein the plurality of cells is grouped into one or more groups, wherein each of the one or more groups is associated with one or more attributes, and wherein each cell of each of the one or more groups has the same values of the one or more attributes, reports, to a positioning entity, at least one baseline positioning measurement for at least one representative cell of at least one group of the one or more groups based on DL-PRS transmitted by the at least one representative cell, and reports, to the positioning entity, differential positioning measurements for cells of the at least one group based on the at least one baseline positioning measurement.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to indicating antenna configuration information and neural network information are disclosed. Neural network information may be selected for an encoder side based on an antenna configuration of a first device housing the encoder. This information may be transmitted with the antenna configuration information to a second device, which may jointly train the neural network with the first device. The first device may further transmit one or more weights after the training, which are stored with the antenna configuration information at the second device as well. When a third device with similar antenna configuration as the first device establishes communication with the second device, the second device may transmit neural network information, as well as weights, to the third device. The third device may use this information, instead of default information, to speed up neural network initialization and training.
