摘要： A multi-port metering pump assembly may include a manifold coupled to a metering pump. The manifold may define a central passage in fluid communication with a plurality of intermediate passages defined in the manifold. The manifold may further include a plurality of outer passages of the manifold. Each intermediate passage may provide fluid communication between the central passage and a corresponding outer passage. A plurality of valves may be coupled to the manifold. Each valve of the plurality of valves may be located between an intermediate passage and a corresponding outer passage, and be configured to enable or prevent passage of fluid between a corresponding intermediate passage of the plurality of intermediate passages and a corresponding outer passage. The multi-port metering pump assembly may also include an electronic controller coupled to the plurality of valves, the electronic controller having an associated electronic interface and being programmable to selectively and independently open and close the valves of the plurality of valves.

摘要： A hot melt adhesive material dispensing system comprises two separate and independent rotary, gear-type metering pumps, or two separate and independent sets of pumps, which are able to output precisely metered amounts of hot melt adhesive material. The hot melt adhesive materials discharged are able to be independently outputted through suitable output devices onto a substrate to result in different outputted volumes of the hot melt adhesive material in accordance with predeterminedly desired patterns, or at predeterminedly desired locations. The hot melt adhesive materials may also have their volumetric outputs combined such that the discharged or outputted volumes of the hot melt adhesive material onto the substrate may be, for example, twice the outputted volumes of the hot melt adhesive outputted onto the substrate from only one of the two pumps, or from only one of the two pumps.

摘要： A device for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes a carrier, a first pump, a second pump, at least one manifold and at least one applicator. The first pump and the second pump are mounted on the carrier and each pump has an inlet and an outlet. The first pump pumps a first part of the two-part adhesive from its inlet to its outlet, and the second pump pumps a second part of the two-part adhesive from its inlet to its outlet. The at least one applicator is configured to mix the first part with the second part to form the two-part adhesive that is discharged from the outlet of the at least one applicator onto the substrate.

A closing element (15) of the valve is actuated by different elements, that is to say, is moved between the open and closed positions, on the one hand by two permanent magnets (24, 25) arranged a short distance from each other and having aligned poles such that the closing element is permanently kept in the closed position by the permanent magnets (24, 25). On the other hand, an actuating element, which is configured as an electromagnet (23), acts to move the closing element (15) into the open position in a controlled way by overcoming the closing forces. The closing element (15) is designed in a particular way, that is to say, with channels extending along the outside in the longitudinal direction for the medium or the glue.
