A screening plate (35) is located between cores of the first and second core parts (17,31) and is welded to the flat base plates with its oppositely located longitudinal edges. The screening plate is preferably located with one side against the first base plate and with the oppositely located side against a resilient lug projecting inwardly from the plane of the second base plate.

    摘要: A magnetic head for a tape player comprises a head tip having a recess and a center tip interposed in the recess via spacers, and a back core having an L-shaped core and a center core. The L-shaped core has a like recess and the front end of the center core is interposed in the recess of the L-shaped core without coming into contact with the L-shaped core, while the other ends of the L-shaped core and the center core are connected to each other. A winding is provided around the center core, while the head tip is fixedly attached to the front surface of the back core so as to constitute a magnetic circuit, thereby providing a narrow head tip width erase head, while erasure efficiency is maintained high.

    摘要: A magnetic tape head includes a pair of core holders containing the core elements of magnetic cores. The tips of the magnetic cores are urged towards each other when the core holders are clamped in abutting relation by a metallic U-shaped clip. The bight portion of the clip engages the tips of the magnetic cores and engages the inner surface of the metallic housing in which the core holders are positioned to ground the tips of the cores. The legs of the clip are urged inwardly with a scissors action by engagement with the inner surfaces of the housing to further exert a clamping action on the core holders and to thereby urge the tips of the core elements towards each other so that the flux gap is maintained.

    摘要: The magnetic head arrangement of this invention includes a first magnetic head, an erase head, a second magnetic head, a first shielding case to house the first magnetic head and a second shielding case to house the erase head and the second magnetic head. The first recording head faces a first track on a magnetic tape and has the function of reproducing the information stored on that first track. The second magnetic head functions as the recording head and, together with the erase head, faces a second recording track at a position spaced from the first magnetic head with respect to the running direction of the tape. Within the second shielding case the second magnetic head is disposed behind the erase head with respect to the direction of advancing movement of the tape.

    摘要: A magnetic head slider assembly, used in disc storage files for air bearing noncontact recording is formed from three parts that enclose a glass-bonded ferrite core. During manufacture, a high temperature glass is used to form the nonmagnetic gap in the core, and a low temperature glass is disposed adjacent to the gap glass between the pole pieces of the core. When the core is positioned within a cavity of the slider, the core containing both glasses is heated sufficiently to cause only the low temperature glass to flow and fill the cavity, thereby bonding the core to an inner wall of the cavity within the slider assembly.
