Abstract:
A display apparatus having a ground bracket. The display apparatus includes a display panel, which displays an image, a filter, which includes an electromagnetic shielding layer and is directly attached to a first surface in which the image of the display panel is formed, and a chassis, which is disposed on the side of a second surface, which is an opposite surface of the first surface, of the display panel and supports the display panel. The ground bracket includes a conductive material, in which a first wing portion is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding layer of the filter, a second wing portion which is electrically connected to the chassis, and the first and second wing portions substantially face each other, and a pressing device, which is installed in the ground bracket and presses the first and second wing portions of the ground bracket in the direction the first and second wing portions are facing. Accordingly, an electromagnetic shielding performance of the filter is improved.

The filter includes a base film, a plurality of light absorbing pattern units that are extended on a surface of the base film in predetermined intervals having a stripe shape, blocking electromagnetic waves, and a reflection prevention layer covering the plurality of light absorbing pattern units.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods of making microstructures with a flexible mold (100), microstructure precursor compositions and particles.
Abstract:
A filter that has an excellent light room contrast, reduced double image formation, reduced external light reflection, lightweight, slim, inexpensive to produce, and a display apparatus having the filter. The filter made out of one sheet includes a reflection preventing layer arranged as the outermost layer of the filter, an electromagnetic wave shielding layer arranged on a rear surface of the reflection preventing layer and a base film arranged on a rear surface of the electromagnetic wave shielding layer.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a glass paste containing a glass powder and an organic component, wherein a black pigment is composed of a complex oxide having a spinel structure and containing Co element and one or more metal elements other than Co element. Consequently, the glass paste is suppressed in color degradation at high temperatures, and thus enables to form a pattern having excellent color and degree of blackness after sintering.
Abstract:
A filter to improve contrast and shield electromagnetic waves, and a plasma display apparatus including the filter. The filter includes a base film, a first color pattern unit having strips disposed in parallel, at predetermined intervals, on both surfaces of the base film, and a second color pattern unit formed on one or both of the surfaces of the base film. The first color pattern unit and the second color pattern unit are conductive, and intersects one another.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for fabricating a front filter for a plasma display panel (PDP). In particular, the present invention relates to a front filter for a PDP comprising functional films including a conductive mesh film (2) having a black treated layer (2a), an optical film (1c) and an antireflection film (4) laminated on a glass substrate (3), wherein a transparent glass substrate (3) is used without a black ceramic stripe, which is formed at the rear side of the glass substrate (3) to improve visibility. Instead, composition and thickness of the oxide film forming the black treated layer (2a) of the conductive mesh film (2) are adjusted to attain comparable or better visibility, as compared with conventional filters. The minimized one-step fabricating process of the present invention provides advantages in terms of cost effectiveness and environment friendliness.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an external light shielding film. The external light shielding film comprises a transparent substrate; and an external light shielding pattern formed on a surface of the transparent substrate and including a plurality of external light shielding parts. Each of the plurality of external light shielding parts has a polymer resin and at least one color-changeable colorant. The color of the plurality of external light shielding parts may vary according to an external heat source or vary depending on an intensity of an external light source, thereby improving a contrast ratio in a bright room, and a specific color may be visible even when the power of the display apparatus is OFF, thereby achieving an interior decorative effect.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of displays. One subject of the invention is a glass composition intended for the production of a substrate for a field-emission display, which has an overall light transmission factor under illuminant D65 (TLD65) that varies from 45 to 80% and is preferably equal to 72% or less, measured for a glass thickness of 2.8 mm, and a blue-gray coloration defined by the following chromatic coordinates: a*=−4 to +1, preferably −2 to 0; and b*=−6 to +3, preferably −2 to 0. The substrates obtained advantageously have a reflection brightness (R) of less than 10 Cd/m2.
Abstract:
A Plasma Display Panel (PDP) includes first and second substrates facing each other; barrier ribs arranged between the first and second substrates to define discharge cells; and a plurality of electrodes extending in a direction between the first and second substrates relative to the discharge cells. The plurality of electrodes include: an oblique terminal line portion converged to a portion in an inactive region where an image is not displayed while obliquely extending from the electrode in an active region where an image is to be displayed; a terminal connection portion extending from the oblique terminal line portion and connected to a driving circuit board; and a dummy terminal portion adjacent to and in parallel with the terminal connection portion to protect a pattern of the terminal connection portion. An adjacent region of the dummy terminal portion with respect to the oblique terminal line portion is cut away to define a predetermined space between the dummy terminal portion, the terminal connection portion, and the oblique terminal line portion.
