    Abstract: In an image communication apparatus for communicating a color image with a distant apparatus according to the ITU-T recommendations upon line connection, an original image is read by a scanner unit, and the size of the read original image is identified.     Abstract: In a photographic printing system, image data of an image plane size (ishot L, nullxnullnully) smaller than a print size (xnully) of a printer is transmitted from a portable telephone to the printer on an infrared communication basis.
