摘要: PCT No. PCT/US79/01033 Sec. 371 Date Nov. 29, 1979 Sec. 102(e) Date Nov. 29, 1979 PCT Filed Nov. 29, 1979Heretofore the capability of operating a system (10), which supplies fluid to a hydraulic circuit (12), selectively at either a high or a low flow rate with only a single pressurized fluid source (14) has not existed. Such a system (10) includes a control valve structure (16) for controlling delivery of fluid from the source (14) to drive the circuit (12) and a flow control (22) for metering a portion of the fluid to the circuit (12). The capability of operating such a system (10) selectively at either a high or a low flow rate is advantageous in some modes of operation of the circuit (12). Herein, hydraulic circuitry (86) serves for controlling the magnitude of the portion in response to application of a signal thereto and a device (78) is provided for selectively applying the signal to the circuitry (86) for selectively directly controlling the magnitude of the portion.

摘要: A load responsive fluid power multiple load control system using load responsive direction and flow control valves in combination with pump control responding to highest system load. Each direction flow control valve is equipped with a load responsive pressure control which automatically regulates valve inlet pressure to maintain a constant low pressure level at the motor exhaust and a load responsive negative load control to control a constant pressure differential at the motor exhaust. The load responsive control of each direction control valve blocks the pump flow to the motor while controlling negative load, providing the motor inlet with fluid from the motor exhaust.

摘要: A hydraulic valve of the type having a plurality of flow directing spools and valve bodies, normally disposed in a stack, or sectional control valve assembly, with registering like passageways on adjacent valve bodies in fluid communication. An open center pilot arrangement is provided to initially control the pressure of fluid supplied to an output passageway of an individual valve when its spool is moved to a position to supply fluid to a load connected thereto. A balanced flow control is disposed in each valve body between an inlet passageway and an outlet passageway and to a loop and an output passageway. The flow control is operative in response to the pressure in one of the output passageways of the valve body to control the proportionate flow of the fluid to the output passageway and the outlet passageway of the valve body. A number of individual valves may be operated in a stack in such a manner that an "upstream" valve will have "priority". Under such conditions two or more valves may be operative simultaneously as long as the total fluid demanded does not exceed the source of supply. Should the demand exceed the source of supply, the valves will operate in sequence.

摘要: Fluid control valve apparatus is provided having a directional control valve for metering passage of fluid from a supply passage to a feeder passage for first actuator. A pressure compensating valve is provided for regulating flow through the directional control valve and for delivering excess fluid to a compensating valve output port for power operation of a second actuator. A main relief valve is connected to the first actuator feeder passage downstream from a metering portion of the directional control valve for sensing a first actuator stall condition. The main relief valve, when actuated, delivers fluid to a tank from a supply passage, through the metering portion of the directional control valve, and a relief passage including the main relief valve upon sensing an overload condition. The rate of flow through the relief passage is subject to limitation only by the metering portion of the direction control valve.

摘要: A valve block for hydraulic excavators having at least two sets of valves which are each coupled to their pump. The valves are of the type which, in the unactuated state, allows the passage of pressure medium. The hydraulic devices for executing working movements of the excavator are each coupled to their valve in each set. The valves in the one set are coupled in series, counted from the pump in the sequence the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the first working movement of the excavator, the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the second working movement of the excavator, and the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the third working movement of the excavator. The valves in the second set are similarly coupled in series counted from the pump in the sequence the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the third working movement of the excavator, the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the second working movement of the excavator and the valve which is coupled to the hydraulic device for the first working movement of the excavator. In the case when the excavator has caterpillar tracks driven by means of hydraulic motors, one valve for each of the hydraulic motors may be coupled before, after or in parallel with each series of valves to the hydraulic devices for executing the working movements of the excavator.

摘要: A load responsive direction and flow control valve for use in fluid power load responsive system. The valve maintains a selected constant flow level for control of both positive and negative loads, irrespective of the change in the load magnitude or change in the fluid pressure, supplied to the valve. System is powered by a single fixed or variable volume pump. The direction flow control valve is equipped with a load responsive control which automatically regulates pump discharge pressure to maintain either a constant low pressure level or low pressure differential at the motor exhaust. The pump discharge pressure is either regulated by bypassing of excess flow to reservoir, or by a special load responsive control, which varies the pump displacement. Direction control valve may also be equipped with a control responsive to load pressure for controlling negative loads and an inlet pressure throttling control for simultaneous control of multiplicity of loads.

摘要: A controller for fluid pressure operated devices such as power steering systems. The controller is of the type having a primary, rotatable valve member and a follow-up valve member and including a fluid meter having a metering member coupled to the follow-up valve member. The valving defines a central reference plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the valving, the primary valve member defining a pair of meter grooves oppositely and equally disposed about the plane. The follow-up valve defines pressure porting adjacent the plane and connected to the fluid inlet port. The primary valve member defines a pressure passage communicating with one of the meter grooves and extending a sufficient distance to communicate with the pressure porting for relative displacement of the valve members in one direction and another pressure passage communicating with the other meter groove and extending a sufficient distance to communicate with the pressure porting when the valve members are relatively displaced in the opposite direction.

摘要: A directional valve assembly for use in hydraulic power systems such as are used on fork lift trucks has a plurality of sliding spool directional valves and a balanced relief valve mounted in the body formed of a plurality of sections bolted and gasketed together. The main lift section has a load-holding check valve of special design together with means on the spool for opening the check valve to lower the load. Means are provided in the assembly for preventing interflow from one valve spool to another when two or more spools are simultaneously shifted. This includes a system of restrictors, check valves and passages causing the main relief valve to act as a pressure compensator responsive to the pressure requirement of the smallest load.
