    摘要: A compressed air supply system and method of operating same for a commercial vehicle includes a compressed air inlet that can be coupled to a compressor, a filter unit that can be coupled to the compressed air inlet via a supply line, a discharge valve element that is coupled to a discharge outlet and the supply line, a first valve element and a second valve element. A control inlet of the discharge valve element is controllable by the first valve element and the second valve element is arranged in a regeneration air path for regenerating the filter unit. At least one pneumatically lockable overflow valve via which a consumer circuit coupled to the compressed air supply system is supplied with compressed air. The at least one pneumatically lockable overflow valve can be controlled by the second valve element.

    摘要: A valve for regulating the rate of flow and/or the pressure of oil flowing to a transmission or another consumer in the power train of a motor vehicle has a piston which defines with the valve housing a chamber for one or more springs and for oil being admitted through a first inlet by way of a first conduit containing a first throttle. A second inlet admits pressurized oil from a pump, and such oil can be admitted into the consumer by way of a first outlet and a second conduit containing a second throttle and supplying oil to the first conduit. A second outlet can deliver oil from the second inlet to the sump in response to shifting of the piston. A hydraulic seal is established between the piston and the housing intermediate the chamber and the second outlet to prevent leakage of oil from the chamber into the second outlet. Oil leaking from the chamber could adversely influence the characteristics of oil flowing into the consumer.

    摘要: A hydraulic fluid discharged from a pump is delivered to a power steering device from a supply passage through a restricted passage and a throttled passage so that as the flow through the supply passage increases in response to an increase in the number of revolutions of the pump, the flow path resistance presented by the restricted passage increases the pressure prevailing in the supply passage to cause a control spool to control the flow area of the throttled passage, thus decreasing the flow delivered to the power steering device. In this manner, a constant and invariable flow decrease characteristic can be maintained despite a loading pressure upon the power steering device, thus enhancing the stability under high speed running conditions. A mechanism to provide a variable control of the flow delivered to the power steering device is provided in a union which is fixedly mounted in one end of a bore in a pump housing.

    摘要: A fluid flow regulator valve comprises a valve chamber having an inlet communicating with fluid under pressure, a service port communicating with a device operated by fluid pressure, and an outlet communicating with exhaust. In the chamber there is a movable valve member having a spring urging it to close the outlet. A flow-responsive element on the valve member causes a force, dependent on the rate of fluid flow through the chamber to act on the valve member in such a manner as to overcome the spring and move the valve member away from the outlet port when the rate of fluid flow reaches a certain value. The valve member and outlet port are so dimensioned that the pressure of fluid within the valve chamber assists the spring, so that the rate of fluid flow at which the outlet port is opened increases with increase of fluid pressure in the chamber.
