摘要: The present disclosure provides a session management method, a mobility management functional entity and a session management functional entity. The session management method includes: judging, by a mobility management functional entity, whether a UE has moved out of an allowed area; when the UE has moved out of the allowed area, determining, by the mobility management functional entity, a management message for a session of the UE; and transmitting, by the mobility management functional entity, the management message to a session management functional entity for serving the UE. The management message is adopted to trigger the session management functional entity to manage the session of the UE.

The device may establish a second PDU session with the core network based on the PPPoE and the PPP, and may configure the second PDU session based on the PPPoE and the PPP, where the second PDU session is configured to provide a second service that is different than the first service. The device may generate second keep alive messages to maintain the second PDU session.

摘要: During operation, a radio node may provide, at a transmit time during a first time interval, a first instance of a keep-alive message to a computer. Then, the radio node may receive, at a receive time prior to a first instance of a transmit expire time, an instance of a keep-alive response from the computer, where the instance of the keep-alive response authorizes the radio node to transmit in a granted portion of the spectrum until a second instance of the transmit expire time has elapsed. Moreover, the radio node may determine, based at least in part on the receive time and the first instance of the transmit expire time, an updated transmit time. Next, the radio node may provide, at the updated transmit time, which is prior to the second instance of the transmit expire time, a second instance of the keep-alive message addressed to the computer.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for adjusting Radio Link Monitoring (RLM), Radio Link Failure (RLF) detection, RLF recovery, and/or connection establishment failure detection for wireless devices (16) in a cellular communications network (10) depending on mode of operation. In one embodiment, a node (14, 16) in the cellular communications network (10) determines whether a wireless device (16) (e.g., a Machine Type Communication (MTC) device) is to operate in a long range extension mode of operation or a normal mode of operation. The node (14, 16) then applies different values for at least one parameter depending on whether the wireless device (16) is to operate in the long range extension mode or the normal mode. The at least one parameter includes one or more RLM parameters, one or more RLF detection parameters, and/or one or more RLF recovery parameters. In doing so, signaling overhead and energy consumption within the wireless device (16) when operating in the long range extension mode is substantially reduced.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for a beam recovery when there has been a partial control channel failure. Transient obstructions, and other interference effects can cause the failure of a beam pair link which can comprise a transmit beam and a receive beam associated with respective antennas on a transmitter and receiver. A group of control channels (downlink control channels) (configured as a control resource set “CORESET”) on a group of beam pair links can be associated with a group of uplink control resources (Physical Uplink Control Channel resources). When a subset of the CORESET group fails, the user equipment (UE) device can find another PUCCH that is associated with a working CORESET to send an indication to the network about the failure. When the network receives the indication, the network can switch the failed CORESET to a new beam pair link.

An intermediate node synchronizer in the intermediate node facilitates time synchronization with its parent node and with the child node. A child node synchronizer in the child node to facilitates time synchronization with the intermediate node. The intermediate node synchronizer exchanges synchronization data with the child node synchronizer to enable the child node to be time synchronized to the intermediate node before the intermediate node is synchronized to its parent node if the intermediate node has not synchronized to its parent node within a predetermined guard time period established for the child node.
