摘要: A process for converting an olefin feed to hydrocarbons suitable for fuel components or their feedstock. According to the process, an olefin feed, possibly together with another hydrocarbon feed, is contacted in a reactor with a catalyst in order to produce a hydrocarbon having at least one alkyl side chain. In the invention, the olefin feed is contacted with a particle-form fluidized catalyst in a circulating-bed reactor, wherein the catalyst forms the circulating bed of the reactor. When the operation is carried out in a circulating-bed reactor, the retention time of the feedstock is short. In this case, iso-olefins are formed quite selectively from n-olefins in isomerization. Since the useful life of the catalyst lengthens while the catalytic activity of the bed remains high for a long time, the conversion level also remains high. A long useful life of the catalyst is an economically highly significant advantage. In a circulating-bed reactor the regeneration of the catalyst can be carried out quite flexibly, and the operation of the reactor need not be interrupted for the duration of regeneration.

摘要: A golf club head includes a body with a striking plate that has a front side for striking a golf ball and a rear side. A vibration-absorbing area is defined behind the striking plate. At least one gas cushion is mounted in the vibration-absorbing area and includes a bladder defining a gas chamber. The bladder is made of an elastomeric material, and the gas chamber is filled with at least one gas to provide the at least one gas cushion with compressibility. The at least one gas cushion includes an engaging section with which at least one weight member is engaged. The at least one weight member and the at least one gas cushion together adjust a center of gravity of the golf club head while absorbing residual vibrations generated as a result of striking a golf ball.

摘要: A method for forming a buried diffusion layer with reducing topography in a surface of a semiconductor substrate is provided. A patterned first dielectric layer is formed on a semiconductor substrate for being used as a first hard mask. A thermal oxidation process is performed to form field oxides on the exposed potions of the semiconductor substrate. The patterned first dielectric layer is then removed. A second patterned dielectric layer is formed on the field oxides and the semiconductor substrate for being used as a second hard mask. An isotropic etching process is performed to etch the exposed portions of the field oxides and the semiconductor substrate. The patterned second dielectric layer and the underlying field oxides are removed to form a plurality of trenches on the surface of the semiconductor substrate. A buried diffusion layer is formed along surroundings of the trenches in the semiconductor substrate.

摘要: A power driver circuit for a display panel. The power driver circuit includes a power controller, and a resident power system, which is coupled to an alternating power source and provides resident power for the power controller. When receiving an external on/off signal, the power controller will output driving signals to initiate or close the low-voltage power converter system and the high-voltage power converter system to determine whether a low-voltage power and a high-voltage power are output to drive the display panel. Thereby, when the display panel is in an off state, only the resident power system works. Thus, the power-saving demand of environmental protection is satisfied.

摘要: A transmission line includes transmission lines parallel and perpendicular, respectively, to a flat portion of a reflector, and the parallel transmission line and the flat portion form a first strip line and the perpendicular transmission line and a conductive plate similarly form a second strip line. Radiators and the transmission line have a radiation impedance and a characteristic impedance, respectively, both set at 150Ω when the antenna's output terminal has a reference impedance of 75Ω. If the parallel transmission line has a midpoint serving as the output terminal of the antenna this portion's receiving current is divided in two so that an impedance of half that of the strip line can be provided and a coaxial cable can directly be connected to the transmission line. A matcher or a mixer is not included in the antenna, and matching and mixing losses can be prevented.

摘要: A shock absorbing structure of a two-wheeled vehicle capable of sufficiently absorbing shock and desirably maintain the steerability of the two-wheeled vehicle. The structure includes a shock absorbing member projecting from a front wheel, wherein the shock absorbing member is crashed when the vehicle collides with an obstacle so as to absorb shock. A ceiling wall of the shock absorbing member is located at such a position that the ceiling wall does not block a forward viewing area for a driver. A center of a leading end contact surface of the shock absorbing member is located at a position higher than a vertical position of a center of gravity G of both a motorcycle and the driver, and right and left side surfaces of the shock absorbing member are offset to a center of a vehicular body from right and left side surfaces of the motorcycle.
