Abstract:
Provided are: a light source that emits light; a light guide including: a curved portion including a light incident surface from which the light from the light source enters; and a linear portion including a light emission surface from which the light is emitted to an original, the linear portion coupled to the curved portion and extended in a main-scan direction, the curved portion reflecting the light entered from the light incident surface to the linear portion; and a frame that houses the light source, and the light guide, wherein the light guide includes an inclined portion inclined in a direction that increases an incident angle β of the light, the inclined portion formed in a range of the linear portion where the light reflected by the curved portion enters.

An illumination apparatus includes: a light source that emits light at a plurality of wavelengths; and a rod-like light guide that shapes light emitted by the light source into a line, wherein the light guide is made of a material including a region in which transmittance of wavelengths is not constant, the light source is arranged at one end of the light guide in a longitudinal direction, the light source includes a wavelength of a region in which transmittance of the light guide is not constant, and a reflection surface including reflection member having reflectance differences for the light at a plurality of wavelengths is formed at the other end of the light guide in the longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
An image sensor unit includes: a light guide reflecting light rays entering through a first light entering surface and a second light entering surface provided at both ends thereof, by a reflection surface to make the light rays exit through a light exiting surface and illuminates an original; a first light source provided near the first light entering surface; a second light source provided near the second light entering surface and different in wavelength from the first light source; and a first reflection part and a second reflection part provided on the reflection surface and composed of dot patterns constituted of two kinds of dots different in spectral reflectance.
Abstract:
A flexible circuit board 3a for mounting a light emitting element has base films 31a and 31b, a wiring pattern 32 formed on a surface of the base films 31a and 31b, and the cover films 33a and 33b that covers the base films 31a and 31b and the wiring pattern 32. At least one of the base film and the cover films 33a and 33b have a substrate 331 and 331a comprising a metal. The cover film 33a and 33b have such surface properties as to produce specular reflection or diffuse reflection of light or has substantially white reflecting films 36 and 333 on a surface of the cover film.

An illumination apparatus includes: a light guide that is formed in a rod shape and includes a positioning portion that is formed at one end in a longitudinal direction, and light incident surfaces that are formed at two end faces in the longitudinal direction; and light sources that are arranged in the vicinity of the light incident surfaces, respectively, and that emit light that is incident on the incident surfaces. The light guide is formed by injection molding. A gate portion for supplying a resin material during injection molding opens at a position that corresponds to a tip face of the positioning portion.

Abstract:
An image sensor unit includes: sensor substrates on which a plurality of sensor chips are mounted; rod-lens arrays that focus light from an original on the sensor substrates; and a frame body that houses the plurality of sensor substrates and the plurality of rod-lens arrays. The frame body is divided into a first frame and a second frame. A side surface of the rod-lens array in a sub-scan direction is fixed only by the first frame, and the plurality of rod-lens arrays are arranged in the main-scan direction.
