    Abstract: An image sensor unit includes a light condenser that collects light from an object to be read, an image sensor that receives the light collected by the light condenser and outputs an image, and a housing that houses the light condenser and the image sensor. The housing includes a plurality of spacer attachment portions to which a first spacer that keeps a distance between the housing and a mount member can be detachably attached and for which distances between the housing and the mount member in a state where the attached first spacer abuts against the mount member differ from each other.

    Abstract: A flexible substrate according to the present invention comprises a first resin layer, a first wiring layer that is arranged on the first resin layer, a second resin layer that is arranged on the first resin layer so as to cover the first wiring layer, and a second wiring layer that is arranged on the second resin layer, wherein the first wiring layer and the second wiring layer are connected to each other with a filled via, and the first wiring layer and the second resin layer are in direct contact with each other. By virtue of this feature, the reliability of a flexible substrate will be improved with a relatively simple configuration.

    Abstract: A radiation detector includes: a phosphor panel including a phosphor excited by entered radiation to emit fluorescence; a light receiving element that photoelectrically converts the fluorescence emitted by the phosphor; and a wiring board provided with the light receiving element, wherein the light receiving element includes a light receiving surface provided with a light receiving portion and an electrode, the phosphor panel and the light receiving element are arranged to face each other, and a surface of the phosphor panel facing the light receiving element and the light receiving surface of the light receiving element are inclined with respect to each other such that a distance between the light receiving portion and the phosphor panel is smaller than a distance between the electrode and the phosphor panel.

    Abstract: A transmission light source unit includes a first light source portion including: a first light source; and a first light guide that shapes light emitted by the first light source into a line and emits the light toward a conveyance path of a paper sheet. An image sensor unit includes: a second light source portion that emits light toward the conveyance path of the paper sheet; and an image sensor that detects the light emitted by the first light source portion and transmitted through the paper sheet and the light emitted by the second light source portion and reflected by the paper sheet. A first light diffusing surface of the first light guide is provided with at least one of concave portions and convex portions including inclined surfaces and inclined relative to a normal line of the first light emission surface.
