Abstract:
A technology concerns a spectacle lens to suppress unnecessary convergence. In the spectacle lens, when an inner horizontal direction of the spectacle lens is a direction toward the nose of a user who wears the spectacle lens, and an outer horizontal direction of the spectacle lens is a direction toward an ear of the user, a shape of a base in prism is formed in a portion in which power continuously changes and through which a main line of sight, influenced by convergence of the user of the spectacle lens, passes such that at least a part of a base out prism, which may be generated in the portion, is cancelled.

Provided is a block device that mounts a lens shape processing lens holder to a convex surface of a spectacle lens with two alignment reference marks for identifying a distance portion design reference point on a concave surface. The block device includes an imaging unit that images the alignment reference marks of the spectacle lens supported by a support unit from a convex surface side of the spectacle lens, an information processing unit that obtains expected imaged positions of the alignment reference marks imaged by the imaging unit, using information regarding the spectacle lens, when a posture of the spectacle lens supported by the support unit becomes a reference posture suitable for mounting the lens holder, and a display control unit that displays images of index marks indicating the expected imaged positions obtained in the information processing unit and images of the alignment reference marks.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a spectacle lens and a related technique thereof, includes: performing desired marking processing by irradiating one surface of a spectacle lens with laser, the spectacle lens having an object-side surface and an eyeball-side surface each having a different anti-reflection film, the marking processing including: determining an applicable wavelength of the laser to be used; selecting a surface with an anti-reflection film having a relatively low reflectance to the applied wavelength, out of the object-side surface and the eyeball-side surface; and performing laser irradiation to the selected surface using the applied wavelength.

Provided is an eyeglass lens configured to cause rays that have entered from an object-side surface to be emitted from an eyeball-side surface and cause the emitted rays to converge at a predetermined position A. The eyeglass lens includes a lens base material having a plurality of base material convex portions on at least one of the object-side surface and the eyeball-side surface, and the eyeglass lens has a configuration for suppressing stray light rays that do not pass through the vicinity of the predetermined position A or the vicinity of the position B that is closer to the object than the predetermined position A is.
