摘要: Systems, devices, apparatuses and methods for an active projection system that may be incorporated into spectacles, contact lenses or provided as an add-on layer to existing spectacles or lenses. The active projection system operates to generate a stimulus or stimuli for viewing by a person's eye. The stimulus or stimuli creates an image that is defocused in front of the person's retina and can assist in slowing or stopping the progression of myopia or other refractive errors in the person.

摘要: A soft contact lens comprises a plurality of light sources coupled to a plurality of optical elements. The plurality of light sources and the plurality of optical elements are embedded in a soft contact lens material. Each of said plurality of optical elements generates an image focused in front of a peripheral retina of a wearer. In some embodiments, each of the images is focused at a distance in front of the peripheral retina at a location, and each of the images comprises a depth of focus and a spatial resolution. The depth of focus can be less than the distance, and the spatial resolution greater than a spatial resolution of the peripheral retina at the location.

摘要: The present invention provides a vision assistive device, including: a first reflector, a second reflector and a third reflector. The first reflector is disposed at a first position of a cornea of a human eye. The second reflector is disposed at a second position of the cornea of the human eye. The third reflector is directly disposed in front of the cornea of the human eye. The first reflector and the second reflector are configured to reflect external light such that the external light is focused at the third reflector. Then, the external light is reflected again by the third reflector to the human eye, thereby enhancing a light intensity of the external light received by the human eye.

摘要: A lens for eyewear is configured to reduce the appearance of scratches on the lens and/or increase the durability of the lens. The lens can include a functional stack bonded to a lens body. The functional stack can include a functional layer, such as a thin film coating, sandwiched between the lens body and an optical-grade transparent film. The functional stack can increase abrasion resistance and environmental durability of the lens, and can reduce the appearance of scratches on the lens. The combined lens body and functional stack can increase the durability of the lens relative to a lens with a thin film coating (e.g., a gradient or mirror stack) on an external surface of the lens.

摘要: Moving pictures, as exemplified by ordinary television programming, are viewed stereoscopically when viewed using a special eyewear apparatus which includes a prismatic lens construction. The three dimensional effect is produced by the design of the eyewear to redirect the visual tracking of one or both eyes away from the normal convergent angle used when viewing display screens to a wider angle, which is normally associated with viewing objects at a greater distance that the display screen. This causes the eyes to perceive two distinct views of the single picture on the screen, which are interpreted by the viewer's brain, not as two laterally displaced pictures, but as a single picture with elements of depth, or a 3D picture.

摘要: An eyeglass structure includes a glasses frame, a temple, and a rear-view mirror unit. The temple has a front end connected to a side edge of the glasses frame. The rear-view mirror unit includes a rear-view mirror and a holder. A first end of the holder is pivotally integrated with the temple or glasses frame for a rotational movement of the holder relative to the temple or the glasses frame. The rear-view mirror is pivotally fitted at a second end of the holder for a rotational movement of the rear-view mirror relative to the holder. A cyclist wearing a pair of eyeglasses with the eyeglass structure can watch traffic conditions at the back through the rear-view mirror for vigilant purposes such as avoiding collision risks proactively.

摘要: An aligning prism amount determination device to determine an aligning prism amount for correcting fixation disparity of a spectacle wearer, having the fixation disparity, includes a determiner to determine an aligning prism amount to be uniformly included in the spectacle lens for correcting the fixation disparity, based on a first aligning prism amount obtained by measuring an aligning prism amount of the spectacle wearer at an eye examination distance corresponding to a first distance, a second aligning prism amount obtained by measurement at an eye examination distance corresponding to a second distance shorter than the first distance, and information used for allocation of the first aligning prism amount and the second aligning prism amount, within a prism prescription range between the first aligning prism amount and the second aligning prism amount.
