摘要： A method and an apparatus by which a panorama image is produced with a high degree of accuracy from an image signal wherein an image signal produced by a CCD imaging element is recorded onto a video tape by way of a camera signal processing circuit, a recording signal processing circuit, a recording/reproduction amplifier and so forth. Meanwhile, a microcomputer calculates of a motion vector of an image from the output of a motion vector detector to which the image signal from the CCD imaging element is inputted, and controls a video subcode processor so that motion vector information may be recorded onto the video tape. The motion vector information is reproduced from the video tape together with the image signal, and a plurality of images are formed from the thus reproduced image signal and joined together in accordance with the motion vector information to produce a panorama image.

摘要： A still picture video signal processing unit 30 and a head unit 40 records video signals of a still picture imaged by a camera unit 10 and PCM audio signals from terminal 2 in a PCM audio area of a magnetic tape 1 as digital signals. A controlling unit 50 controls the still picture video signal processing unit 30 so that an ID for discriminating interchangeability or non-interchangeability of the digital signals may be stored in a predetermined area. During playback, the controlling unit 50 controls the processing unit 30 or the like so that the video signals, the PCM audio signals or the like may be reproduced based on the ID. The user may be informed as to if the recorded digital signals belong to the basic function having interchangeability or to the extension function not having interchangeability and as to the reason playback cannot be made. The producer may be free to add a unique function to make distinction from products of other producers as well as to develop products attractive to customers.

摘要： A panel for free access to a signal cable and a power cable is installed on the floor of an office room and forms a network of signal cables in an office. The posts of this panel are mounted on the floor. A floor plate is secured to the upper ends of the posts. A rack plate is arranged between the floor plate and the floor, and the rack plate is secured to the posts. The height of the floor plate and the rack plate is adjusted by adjusting the engaging position by rotating a leg to be engaged with the threaded holes of the posts. The floor plates are composed of a plate made of glass, reinforced cement mixed with foamable styrol or an aluminum honeycomb structure. The rack plate is composed of a transparent polypropylene plate. Further, the surface of the floor plate is covered with a surface material such as a carpet. The signal cables are arranged in the space between the floor plates and the rack plates. The power cables are arranged in the space between the rack plates and the floor. Electronic components are mounted on the rack plates. Therefore, the power cables, the signal cables and the other electronic components are completely isolated from each other, and the modification of the layout of office automation equipment can be readily carried out by an authorized person.

摘要： A battery-operated flushing system (10) comprises a flushing valve (34) of the pilot-operated self-closing type having a pressure chamber (46) connected to a pilot conduit (52) controlled by a solenoid valve (50) of the non-latching type. A pressure control valve (48) is disposed between the pressure chamber (46) and the solenoid valve (50) for limiting the static water pressure applied to the solenoid valve (50) when the solenoid valve is closed. The provision for the pressure control valve (48) enables considerable reduction in the power consumption required to lift a solenoid valve plunger against the action of the static hydraulic pressure. Once the plunger is lifted, the non-latching type solenoid valve is energized with a reduced electric current sufficient to hold the valve in its open position. In total, energy consumption per cycle of operation is reduced. Use of the non-latching type solenoid valve permits to avoid malfunction inherently involved in the solenoid valves of the latching type. Various other embodiments are also disclosed.
