Abstract: A legacy WiFi communication may contain information to permit a receiver to know of the presence of a parallel new band (NB) communication, and to receive that information in time to know how to receive the NB communication. In various embodiments, this information may be contained in the L-SIG, RL-SIG, and/or HE-SIG-A subfields of a single user PPDU, or in the L-SIG, RL-SIG, HE-SIG-A, and/or HE-SIG-B subfields of a multi-user PPDU.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to uplink location measurement report (LMR) feedback. A device may perform availability window negotiation during a negotiation phase of a location determination associated with a first initiating device of one or more initiating devices. The device may determine a status of a first LMR associated with the first initiating device. The device may cause to send a polling request to one more initiating devices during a first availability window. The device may identify a polling response from at least one of the one or more initiating devices. The device may perform one or more sounding measurements with the at least one of the one or more initiating devices during a measurement phase. The device may cause to send a trigger frame to the at least one of the one or more initiating devices.

Abstract: An apparatus, computer readable medium, and method for overlapping basic service set (OBSS) indication in a high-efficiency wireless local-area network (HEW). An apparatus of a high-efficiency wireless local-area network device is disclosed. The apparatus including transceiver circuitry and processing circuitry configured to receive a frame and determine whether the frame is a frame transmitted from a basic service set (BSS) or a frame transmitted from an OBSS based on one or more media access control (MAC) addresses of the frame. The MAC address may include an indication of a BSS of the HE wireless device. If the HE wireless device is an access point, then a second part of the MAC address may be a predetermined pattern, the second part of the MAC address may be a formula applied to a first part of the MAC address, or an individual/group bit of the MAC address may be set.

The device may encode the high-efficiency signal field using the first group of subchannels and the second group of subchannels. Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed. The apparatuses including processing circuitry configured to: associate with a master station, decode a frame, where the frame comprises a first duration and a transmitter address and determine that the frame is an intra basic service set (Intra-BSS), an inter (Inter-BSS), or an unclassified frame, where the unclassified frame is the Intra-BSS frame or the Inter-BSS frame. The processing circuitry may be further configured to set an Intra-BSS network allocation vector (NAV) to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the Intra-BSS NAV and the frame is determined to be the intra-BSS frame and set the second NAV to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the second NAV and the frame is determined to be the inter-BSS frame or the unclassified frame.

The method may include the operations of appending, by a network device, one or more codebits to one or more original codebits or coded symbols, sending, by the network device, the original codebits or coded symbols and the appended codebits to an interleaver or a constellation mapper for transmission. The original codebits or coded symbols and the appended codebits may be sent over a plurality of subcarriers. Methods, apparatus, and systems described herein can be applied to 802.11ax or any other wireless standard.
