The user equipment (420) is in connection with the base station (410) in a cellular communication network (400). After receiving a receiving (702) a grant in a subframe n to be used for CSI reporting, from the base station, the user equipment determines (703) subframe type of a subframe n+p. The user equipment then reports (704) to the base station, CSI reflecting channel conditions in the subframe type of subframe n+p. p is a variable value.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and arrangement for transmitting and receiving control information in a radio-access network. A network node transmits first control information in a first part and second control information in a second part of a time-frequency region that is transmitted after a control region in a subframe. The second part is located later in the subframe than the first part. The second control information may be less time-critical than the first control information. An intermediate node receives and decodes the first control information at the end of the first part. When the first control information indicates that the subframe comprises data payload to the intermediate node, the intermediate node receives and decodes the data payload. The intermediate node receives second control information at the end of the second part.

摘要: Embodiments herein include a method in a user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink control information in time slots of a subframe over a radio channel to a radio base station. The uplink control information is comprised in a block of bits. The UE maps the block of bits to a sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE block spreads the sequence across Discrete Fourier Transform Spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFTS-OFDM) symbols. This is performed by applying a spreading sequence to the sequence of complex valued modulation symbols, to achieve a block spread sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE further transforms the block-spread sequence, per DFTS-OFDM symbol. This is performed by applying a matrix that depends on a DFTS-OFDM symbol index and/or slot index to the block-spread sequence. The UE also transmits the block spread sequence, as transformed, over the radio channel to the radio base station.

摘要: Methods and arrangements for resource allocation in a telecommunication system in which aggregation of component carriers is applied. The size of the resource allocation field is determined based on the transmission bandwidth of a selection of component carriers. The selection of component carriers comprises the component carrier on which the resource allocation message is monitored and the component carriers which are cross-scheduled from said component carrier. The resource allocation message comprising the resource allocation field with the determined size is transmitted to the user equipment over a particular component carrier of the selection of component carriers. Furthermore, with only one size of the resource allocation field a smaller number of code word sizes needs to be monitored by the UE. This leads to a smaller number of blind decodings performed in the UE. The present invention enables a more tailored approach when determining the size of the resource allocation field to avoid too high overhead but also a too coarse resource allocation.

摘要: A method in a network node for transmitting control information to a user equipment in a telecommunications system is provided. The control information is scheduled in time intervals of a downlink shared data channel, wherein the control information is allocated resource elements in resource blocks of a time-frequency Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM, grid in the time intervals in which the control information is scheduled. The network node determines for a time interval, a set of user equipments for which control information is scheduled in the time interval. Also, it selects for a user equipment comprised in the determined set of user equipments, at least one group of user equipments amongst one or more groups of user equipments to which the user equipment is assigned. It also prepares a group signal corresponding to the selected one group of user equipments by allocating resource elements in the resource blocks of the time interval to the group signal. Furthermore, the network node transmits the prepared group signal in the allocated resource element in the time interval to the user equipment such that the user equipment is enabled to determine whether the control information that is allocated resource elements in the time interval is intended for the user equipment or not.A network node, a method in user equipment and a user equipment are also provided.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for using multiple configuration groups having corresponding configuration identity (CID) parameters to configure a transmission channel and a reception channel for a user equipment device in a cellular communication network. In one embodiment, a user equipment device in a cellular communication network obtains CID values for CID parameters for a number of configuration groups. Each of the configuration groups includes one or more transmission channel or reception channel parameters. For each of the configuration groups, the user equipment device configures the parameters in the configuration group based on the CID value obtained for the CID parameter for the configuration group. In this manner, the transmission channel and the reception channel for the user equipment device are configured based on multiple CID values rather than a single physical layer cell identifier for a cell in which the user equipment device is located.

摘要: A high-power point (110) and one or more low-power points (120) transmit signals that are associated with the same cell-identifier in a heterogeneous cell deployment. The coverage areas corresponding to the low-power points (120) fall at least partly within the coverage area for the high-power point (110), so that mobile stations (130) within range of a low-power point are also within range of the high-power point (110), from a downlink perspective. The same CRS signals are transmitted by both the high-power (macro) point (110) and some or all of the low-power (pico) points (120). At the same time, the network transmits CRS-based PDSCH for a particular UE on both the high-power point (110) as well as on some or all of the low-power points (120). In some embodiments only a subset of the points, e.g., those points that the UE hears sufficiently well, participate in the PDSCH transmission using CRS for channel estimation.

摘要: Error protection based on a nonlinear code set may be used in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radio communications system. A decoder decodes received MIMO data streams and generates an automatic repeat request (ARQ) message for data units received for the MIMO data streams for each transmission time interval. An encoder codes the ARQ message using a code word from a nonlinear code set. At the data transmitter, which transmits one or more data units in transmission time intervals from two or more MIMO data streams, the ARQ message associated with the transmitted data units is decoded using a code word from the nonlinear code set.
