    摘要: A remote coordinate designating device has a remote control with a light emitting device for emitting light, and a controller for detecting a designated position by receiving light from the remote control at a distance from the remote control. One cycle of a light signal from the light emitting device is composed of switch data and a coordinate detection timing header at the head, and a coordinate detection carrier. The switch data and the coordinate detection timing header use the same frequency as the normal remote control frequency band, and the frequency of the coordinate detection carrier is lower than the frequency of the switch data and the coordinate detection timing header. The switch data contains on-off information about a switch for pointing, and coordinate detection is started when a predetermined time has passed from the rise of a burst portion in the switch data.

    摘要: An electronic apparatus includes: a display screen; a power supply switch; a memory for storing a plurality patterns of graphic data, select information indicating which graphic data is selected, and the number of times by which the power supply switch is operated; a controller responsive to the power supply switch being operated for controlling the display screen to display graphic data of a pattern specified by the select information; and a device for updating in accordance with a predetermined scheme the select information and the number of times of operation of the power supply switch, if the power supply switch is operated and the number of times of operation of the power supply switch satisfies predetermined conditions. For example, when the power supply switch is operated a predetermined times, a dialog screen for selecting the next pattern is displayed. The patterns may be divided into groups so that upon operating the power supply switch predetermined times, the next pattern of the group is selected, and ultimately the dialog for selecting the next group is displayed.

    摘要: A throw-away cutting tool is disclosed. The tool body of the cutting tool consists of a rod-like shank and a bit mounting component arranged at the front end of the shank. The shank is made of cemented carbide, and is formed with a mounting wall extending toward the front end of the tool body. The bit mounting component is made of steel or sintered metal, and is formed with a bit mounting seat defined by a bottom wall and side walls. In the above cutting tool, high resistance against the cutting force produced by cutting operation can be obtained and separation of the shank and the bit mounting component can be prevented; and high rigidity of the tool body is ensured, the damping capacity of the tool body is increased, and therefore vibration and chatter of the cutting tool can be effectively prevented.

    摘要: A timing signal delay circuit comprises a counter placed with first delay setting data (21-24) for counting a first clock signal (12) in response to an input timing pulse (11), and a first flip-flop circuit which has a D-input supplied with the output of the counter (1) and a clock input supplied with a second clock signal of the same timing frequency as the first clock signal. For doubling resolution of the delay which the input timing pulse undergoes, there are provided an exclusive-OR gate (4) supplied with a second dealy data signal (31) and a third clock signal (14) of the same timing as the second clock signal (13), an AND gate (5) supplied with the output of the exclusive-OR gate (4) and that of the first flip-flop (3), and a second flip-flop supplied with the output of the AND gate (5) and a fourth clock signal (15) having twice as high frequency as that of the first clock (12). The input timing pulse can be delayed with high resolution or accuracy.

    摘要: A magnetic transducer head in which the magnetic core elements of ferromagnetic oxides are sliced obliquely across the junction surface of the core elements, ferromagnetic metal thin films are formed on the resulting inclined surfaces by employing a physical vapor deposition, and the core elements are placed with the respective ferromagnetic metal thin films abutting to each other for defining a magnetic gap therebetween, wherein the improvement consists in that said inclined surfaces with the ferromagnetic metal thin films formed thereon are inclined at a preset angle with the magnetic gap forming surface, in that non-magnetic films having high-hardness are interposed between the ferromagnetic oxide and the ferromagnetic metal thin films, and in that said ferromagnetic metal thin films and the oxide glass fillers are provided on the tape abutment surface by the intermediary of the non-magnetic film having high-hardness.The provision of the non-magnetic film having high-hardness between the ferromagnetic oxide and the ferromagnetic metal thin film is effective to inhibit the reaction otherwise occurring between the oxide and the films, while positively preventing the formation of the boundary layer with inferior magnetic properties.Likewise, the provision of the non-magnetic film having high-hardness between the ferromagnetic metal thin film and the oxide glass is effective to prevent the erosion of the film by the molten glass, while also improving the molten glass fluidity.It should be noted that the non-magnetic films having high-hardness may be provided on the interface only between the core elements and the metal thin films or on the interface only between the metal thin films and the oxide glass.
