    摘要: A process is disclosed wherein an optically active N-mercaptoalkanoylamino acid is prepared by(1) reacting an optically active .beta.-hydroxyalkanoic acid, with a halogenating reagent to prepare an optically active .beta.-haloalkanoyl halide(2) reacting the .beta.-haloalkanoyl halide with an amino acid to produce an optically active N-.beta.-haloalkanoylamino acid and(3) reacting the N-.beta.-haloalkanoylamino acid with a reagent capable of converting the halogen into the thiol group, the configuration of the formulas (II), (III), (IV), (V), and (VI) being retained in all the optically active compounds throughout the process to prepare the compound represented by formula (I). The product of the present invention, for example, N-(3-mercapto-2-D-methylpropanoyl)-L-proline inhibits the enzymatic conversion of angiotensin I into angiotensin II and therefore is useful for relieving angiotensin-related hypertension.

    摘要: A stable composition of S-adenosyl-L-methionine is disclosed which includes a salt of S-adenosyl-L-methionine and a pharmaceutically acceptable, water-soluble salt of a bivalent or trivalent metal. The salt of S-adenosyl-L-methionine is, for example, a salt of S-adenosyl-L-methionine with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, phosphoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, or maleic acid; or a double salt of S-adenosyl-L-methionine with the foregoing acids. The salt of a bivalent or trivalent metal is, for example, calcium chloride, ferric chloride, magnesium chloride, or magnesium sulfate. A process for preparing the composition is also disclosed. The composition is suitable for preparing pharmaceutical preparations of S-adenosyl-L-methionine.

    摘要: A capacitive touch panel has a plurality of first transparent electrodes and a plurality of second transparent electrodes on a transparent substrate. At crossing portions between the first and second electrodes, adjacent electrodes of the second electrodes have no interruption, and adjacent electrodes of the first electrodes are interrupted. An interlayer insulating film is disposed as an upper layer on the second electrodes, and a bridge electrode is disposed as an upper layer on the interlayer insulating film to connect interrupted portions of the first electrodes at the crossing portions. The material constituting the bridge electrode contains an element that is more susceptible to oxidation than elements contained in a material constituting the second electrodes. Constant voltage is applied to the first electrodes, and a pulse voltage having a low potential equal to or higher than the potential of the first electrodes is applied to the second electrodes.
