Provided is a method for communicating performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises receiving a traffic routing configuration from a first access network, the traffic routing configuration specifying a traffic routing criteria for routing and processing traffic, discovering at least one second network entity by searching a second access network, conducting a traffic routing evaluation to determine whether the at least one second access network satisfies the traffic routing criteria, reporting a routing evaluation result to the first access network when the traffic routing criteria are satisfied, receiving a traffic routing indication from the first access network, and processing the traffic based on the traffic routing indication. When the traffic routing indication indicates traffic of the first access network is processed through the second access network, the traffic of the first access network is processed through the second access network.

A method for changing a coverage enhancement mode in a wireless communication system supporting a coverage enhancement (CE) is disclosed. For this, the method comprising: receiving, from a network, information on a CE mode level supported by the network, wherein the information on the supported CE mode level indicates a highest level among CE mode levels currently supported by the network; determining a CE mode level of the UE; and transmitting, to the network, a first message for requesting a change of the supported CE mode level, when the determined CE mode level of the UE is higher than or equal to the supported CE mode level.

The method may include: transmitting a first uplink message including a system information request to a radio access network (RAN); receiving a first downlink message including requested system information from the RAN in response to the system information request; transmitting a second uplink message including an additional system information request to the RAN; and receiving requested additional system information from the RAN in response to the additional system information request.

Provided is a method for reporting performed by user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: obtaining an estimation result from a first point in time; obtaining location information from a second point in time; determining a correlation between the location information and the estimation result; and transmitting to a base station a report message including the estimation result. When the location information is determined to have a high correlation to the estimation result through a correlation validity evaluation, the method further comprises transmitting the location information to the base station.
