Abstract:
In an Internet home page data acquisition method, an access list held by a client is transferred to a cache URL address storage server. Home page data is acquired by a cache server on the basis of the transferred access list. The acquired home page data is transferred from the cache server to the client upon completion of acquisition of the home page data.
Abstract:
A fuel cell system is provided which has a humidifying means (2) for directly humidifying a polymer electrolyte membrane (12) that serves as an ionic conductor. As the humidifying means (2), means is employed which has a water holding unit (21) comprised of a water-absorbing material and located in contact with the polymer electrolyte membrane to directly humidify the polymer electrolyte membrane (12) by utilizing a capillary action and further has a humidification water passage (28) comprised of a hydrophilic material and provided in the polymer electrolyte membrane so as to be connected to the water holding unit (21) to humidify the polymer electrolyte membrane (12) rapidly and uniformly. Such a constitution provides a fuel cell system that can directly humidify an ionic conductor.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a clock signal control device which has: an oscillator which generates a clock signal; a pulse detecting circuit which detects the frequency or duty of the clock signal and outputs a control signal based on the result of detection; and a clock signal supply selecting circuit which generates a supply clock signal from the clock signal generated from the oscillator in response to the control signal from the pulse detecting circuit.
Abstract:
For an immersed pump having a suction port directly immersed in a liquid for operation, the present invention provides a pump that eliminates the need to seal a rotating shaft with a shaft sealing apparatus and that reduces the effect on individual pump sections of a) the thrust of the rotating shaft effected by the rotation of an impeller and b) the weight of a motor acting in the same direction, thereby preventing defects in the pump. To achieve this object, this invention provides an immersed pump configured in such a way that an impeller 7 is driven and rotated by a motor 2 to draw a liquid from a suction port 4A into a pump housing 3A and eject it from an ejection port 5. The suction port 4A is provided at the lower end of a body frame 1 or on the outer circumference of the upper end of the housing 3A, while the ejection port 5 is provided at the lower end of the housing 3A.
Abstract:
An operational apparatus for a vehicle slide door comprises an outer open lever connected to an outside handle of the door, an inside handle of the door rotatable in door-opening and door-closing directions, an inner open lever connected to the inside handle, a child-proof mechanism, a powered closing unit for closing the door from a half-latched position to the full-latched position, a fail-safe lever for interrupting an operation of the powered closing unit, a sub inner lever connected to the inside handle. The inner open lever transmits a door-closing rotation of the inside handle to the fail-safe lever without through the child-proof mechanism. The sub inner lever transmits a door-opening rotation of the inside handle to the fail-safe lever without through the child-proof mechanism. The fail-safe lever is moved in the same direction by either of the door-opening and the door-closing rotations of the inside handle.
Abstract:
A process for producing a photosensitive resin printing plate comprising a step of forming a liquid photosensitive resin into a layer by applying the same to a substrate with a bucket, wherein a forming speed variation point for said layer is set at a position which is 30 to 80% of the forming distance of said layer, and wherein the liquid photosensitive resin is formed into a layer by successively reducing the forming speed thereafter.
Abstract:
In order to provide a banking system having an IC card available anytime anywhere with no risk of the security information plagiary because of the missing IC card, no complexity of the IC card usage, nor problem of the discharged battery, a banking system of the present invention comprises radio communication means to be connected to a center terminal (5) of a financial organization (4) by way of a radio communication network for drawing an amount from and depositing an amount to a bank account in the financial organization (4), the bank account being identified by a bank password. The radio communication means includes a radio linked portable terminal (1) and an IC card (2) to be connected to the radio linked portable terminal, the IC card comprising a memory for storing information of an available amount reserved for the IC card (2) and a processor for adding an amount drawn from the bank account to the available amount and subtracting an amount to be deposited to the bank account from the available amount.
Abstract:
A cylindrical casing 33 is provided in a tank 25 in which a pump 14 and a heat exchanger 15 are assembled. A heater 12 is mounted at the top of the tank 25 in such a way that its heating section 12a is inserted into the casing 33. A constant-temperature liquid is fed from an inlet 36 at the lower end of the casing 33, fills the inside of the casing 33, and then flows out from the outlet 37 at the upper end, while it is simultaneously heated by the heater 12.
Abstract:
A wireless communication apparatus having a first communication device (portable) and a second communication device (stationary) for mutually performing wireless communication. Reception of a wireless communication signal from the first communication device is detected by the second communication device. If no wireless communication signal has been received, the second communication device transmits an alarm signal to the first communication device, and if this state where no wireless communication signal is detected continues for a predetermined period, the second communication device transmits an alarm signal different from the initial alarm signal to the first communication device. Thereafter, the second communication device stops transmission of wireless communication signal to the first communication device.
Abstract:
A powered sliding device for a sliding door comprises a wire drum rotated by a motor, a wire cable connecting the wire drum and the sliding door, a clutch mechanism provided between the wire drum and the motor. The clutch mechanism has a first coupling state for opening the door, a second coupling state for closing the door, and an uncoupling state. The wire drum has a cylindrical shape having a substantially closed end and an opposite open end, and an inner space formed inside thereof. The clutch mechanism is substantially provided within the inner space. The clutch mechanism is displaced into the first coupling state when the motor rotates in a given direction and displaced into the second coupling state when the motor rotates in a direction opposite to the given direction. The clutch mechanism is returned to the uncoupling state from the first coupling state when the motor is rotated in the opposite direction by a predetermined amount, and is returned to the uncoupling state from the second coupling state when the motor is rotated in the given direction by the predetermined amount.
