The opening-closing guide slot includes a yieldable arm for guiding the link lever along the guide slot during normal operation, and for flexing downward in the event that the cassette lid accidentally disengages from the release lever when moving from the loading position, so as to prevent the cassette from becoming jammed in the apparatus and to allow the cassette to be transferred to the insertion position from which it can be removed.
