    摘要: A fluorine-containing organosilicon compound according to the present invention is expressed by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein Rf is a perfluoropolyether group having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, R is an alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an ether group expressed by the general formula:--R.sup.1 --O--R.sup.2 --wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different and are each alkylene groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The fluorine-containing organosilicon compound is highly useful as a curing agent for organopolysiloxane compositions that are condensation curable at room temperature.

    摘要: An organosilicone-treated silica obtained by treating(A) a silica powder having a specific surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g with(B) a triorgano(1-alkoxyvinyloxy)silane having the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group, and R.sup.2 are each a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group or an ether linkage-containing organic group. The invention also discloses an organopolysiloxane composition containing the organosilicone-treated silica and a process preparing the composition. The organosilicone-treated silica is of high quality, containing no substance with disagreeable smell or corrosiveness which has been by-produced heretofore. Hence, the composition containing the silica is free from pseudocrosslinking such as structuring or crepe hardening.

    摘要: A process of producing a perfluorocarboxylic acid fluoride having the formula (1): ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of at least 2, comprising effecting oligomerization of hexafluoropropylene oxide in the presence of an alkali metal fluoride a sulfone or a mixture of a sulfone with an ether having the formula (2):CH.sub.3 O(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m CH.sub.3 (2)where m is an integer of 2 to 6. This process makes it possible to improve production yield of hexafluoropropylene oxide oligomers remarkably, and to raise a reaction temperature for the oligomerization, as compared with conventional methods, thereby shortening reaction time therefor.

    摘要: A room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a diorganopolysiloxane blocked by hydroxyl group at both terminal ends of its molecule, (B) from 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of an organosilicon compound having at least three silicon-bonded hydrolyzable groups in its molecule or a partially hydrolyzed product of the organosilicon compound, (C) from 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of an alkoxysilane having the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group of from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R.sup.3 is a divalent hydrocarbon group of from 1 to 8 carbon atoms which may contain an amide linkage (--CONH--) or ether oxygen linkage, Rf is a divalent perfluoroalkylene group or a divalent perfluoropolyether group, and n is an integer from 1 to 3, and a cured product of the composition. The composition and the cured product thereof ensure lessened contamination on surfaces of the cured product and in the surroundings, and permit easy removal of fungi, if any, from surfaces of the cured product.

    摘要: Fluorine-containing organosilicon compound according to the present invention is expressed by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein Rf is a perfluoropolyether group having 3 to 17 carbon atoms, R is an alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a group of the general formula, --R.sup.2 --O--R.sup.3 --, wherein R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be the same or different and are each alkylene groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The present compound is useful as a curing catalyst for organo-polysiloxane compounds that are condensation curable at room temperature. The compositions added with the fluorine-containing organosilicon compound have excellent characteristics such as water and oil repellencies, chemical resistance and contamination resistance and offer a variety of uses such as high performance sealing, coating and electric insulating materials.

    摘要: Fluorine-containing dimethylchlorosilanes are prepared by reacting an ethylene compound having a fluorine-containing organic group with dimethylchlorosilane in the presence of a rhodium complex, for instance RhCl(PPh.sub.3) (Ph: phenyl group), as a catalyst. The use of a rhodium complex as a catalyst enables preparation in high yield of the fluorine-containing dimethylchlorosilane, which has been heretofore obtainable only in low yields.

The composition produces a cured product having good solvent resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance.
