Abstract:
The invention provides a device for mounting to the bottom of a garage door track to prevent the garage door from being pried open with a pry bar. The device comprises a bracket having a squared “Z” configuration comprising a garage wall mounting plate, a buttressed elongate portion and a track edge support.
Abstract:
A device for preventing a door with an automatic locking mechanism from locking and for propping a door in an open position is provided. The device includes a bar with a first surface and an opposing second surface. One or more magnets are connected to the first surface by glue. A foam layer is also connected to the first surface.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a window regulator that reduces thrust-down noises by minimizing the moment of rising even when the window glass reaches the lower edge, and improves the durability of an elastic member. The window regulator (10) is provided with: a carrier plate (12) that holds the window glass; a guide rail (11) that freely guides the carrier plate up and down; a direction switching member (13) disposed at the top end of the guide rail; inner cables (16, 17) that pass over the direction changing member, and are connected to the carrier plate (12); and a drive mechanism (14) that reciprocatingly drives the inner cables. An elastic member (28) is disposed on the lower edge of the carrier plate (12). A receiving section (27), which comes into contact with the elastic member (28) and controls the descent of the carrier plate, is disposed on the drive mechanism (14) housing (25). The receiving section (27) has an inclined surface (44) inclined in such a manner as to rise with increasing distance from the guide rail.
Abstract:
The invention proposes a device for a piece of furniture, which comprises a furniture part accommodated in a movable manner on a basic furniture structure, for defining a stop position of the furniture part, having an adjustment unit, which has an adjustable stop and which bounds a furniture-part closing movement which can be executed during normal operation. According to the invention, the adjustment unit comprises a stop part which can be deflected resiliently out of a starting position, wherein the stop position is determined by the extent of deflection in a fixed deflecting position of the stop part.
Abstract:
The present invention related to a door jamb finger guard. The finger guard comprises a door lock for preventing closure of the door, a housing for the door lock and a spring activated plate. The spring activated plate is activateable by a door closing obstacle for automatically moving the door lock between an inactive position and an active position. In the inactive position, the door lock is recessed within the housing, while in the active position, the door lock projects from the housing to prevent closure of the door.
Abstract:
Hinge (1) with one pivoting (2) and one fixed (3) hinge leaf, with a physical hinge axle (7) similar to a hollow cylinder which is common to both hinge leaves (2, 3) with an imaginary mathematical axis (4). The hinge axle (7) is connected unmovably to the pivoting (2) hinge leaf and mounted rotatably on a journal bearing (5-1, 5-2), the body of which journal bearing is connected rigidly with the fixed (3) hinge leaf. In the hinge axle (7) a spiral torsion spring (8) arranged, the first (8-1) of whose two ends is connected unmovably to the hinge axle (7) and the second (8-2) of whose two ends is connected via a worm-gear unit consisting of a worm wheel (9) and endless screw (6) to the journal-bearing body of the journal bearing (5-1). The worm wheel (9) is arranged in the journal bearing (5-1) to rotate around the axis (4) of the hinge axle (7) and is fixed permanently to the second (8-2) of the two ends of the spiral torsion spring (8). The adjustment of the worm wheel (9) and consequently the adjustment of the tension of the spiral torsion spring (8) takes place by turning the endless screw (6) which is arranged in the fixed part of the journal-bearing body of the journal bearing (5-1) and into which the teeth (9-10) of the worm wheel (9) engage.
Abstract:
A vehicle body structure has a first structural member that at least partially defines an upper side of a door opening and a second structural member that extends downward from the first structural member and at least partially defines one side of the door opening. An elongated track member is attached on the first structural member. A sliding door is movably supported on the track member for movement along the track member between a closed position and an open position. A stopper bracket is rigidly attached on the second structural member. The stopper bracket is dimensioned and configured to absorb impacting forces of the sliding door as the sliding door moves from the closed position to the open position. The stopper bracket is rigidly attached to the track member such that the impacting forces are at least partially transmitted to the track member.

Abstract:
The present invention employed an elevating device for a window glass provided in a door of a vehicle, including: a guiding device which is provided in the door; a career plate which engages with the guiding device and slidably moves in an elevating direction of the window glass in relation to the guiding device; and a driving device which raises and lowers the career plate. The career plate is provided with a stopper which abuts on the guiding device when the career plate reaches an elevation-limiting position. The stopper is provided with an attaching portion which is attached to the career plate, and an abutting portion which abuts on the guiding device and elastically deforms when the stopper reaches the elevation-limiting position. The abutting portion is formed such that a width thereof becomes wider than the attaching portion and such that the width becomes smaller toward a distal end side.
Abstract:
A modular rail system for suspending sliding doors, including at least one rail profile having a top side arranged for being fixed against a horizontal wall part, a bottom side having a rail portion for carrying suspension wheels of a sliding door, a first lateral side arranged for being fixed against a vertical wall part, and an open second lateral side. On both opposite lateral sides the rail profile includes recesses having substantially the same shape for engaging complementary spacer elements. A sliding door system including a rail system, at least one sliding door with suspension wheels and at least one repositionable braking/stopping element having a stop for defining an extreme position of the sliding door and a releasable fixing element for fixing the braking/stopping element in the rail system. The fixing element is spaced a predetermined distance from the stop, chosen for maintaining user accessibility to the fixing element while the stop is located in a user inaccessible position.
