    摘要: A shade canopy configured for use on all model Personal Watercrafts (PWC) is described. A Bimini Top provides shade from the sun to occupants of the PWC. The bimini top provides the ability to board and unboard from the sides of the PWC. This apparatus also folds and stores on the rear of the PWC and is contained in a zippered boot with straps. The bimini top supports a permanent or non-permanent mounting system to the hull to avoid hull modification. Two variants, a folding or telescoping support structure are available which facilitate accessories such as racks and coolers that attach to the rear of the PWC. Straps positioned around the PWC tension to the apparatus, ensuring the Bimini Top remains taut, and that the Bimini Top does not angle fore, aft, left or right. The straps are affixed to the PWC using existing mooring points on the PWC or via an add-on kit.

    摘要: A small watercraft includes an input, a second storage, and a controller. The input receives an operation to switch the small watercraft into one of a plurality of control states, and includes a first storage that stores first control information indicating the one of the plurality of control states associated with the operation received by the input. The second storage stores second control information indicating one of the plurality of control states. The controller is able to write to one of the first and second storages. The input is supplied with electric power by supplying the controller with the electric power. When the one of the plurality of control states indicated by the first control information is different from the one of the plurality of control states indicated by the second control information, the controller causes one of the first control information and the second control information stored in the one of the first and second storages to match the other of the first control information and the second control information stored in the other of the first and second storages.

    摘要: A hull for a personal watercraft includes a compression-molded hull body. A main portion of the hull body includes a thermoplastic material embedded with non-directional chopped glass fibers. The main portion extends along an entirety of the length and of the width of the hull body. Port and starboard portions of the hull body include the thermoplastic material embedded with directional glass fibers. The directional glass fibers include longitudinally-oriented glass fibers. A majority of the longitudinally-oriented glass fibers have a length at least ten times greater than a mean length of the chopped glass fibers. The port and starboard portions extend vertically from proximate an upper edge of the hull towards a keel, and longitudinally along at least 50% of the length of the hull body.

    摘要: A powered watercraft (1) for support and surface-transport of a user lying prone. The watercraft (1) has a hull (3) formed by a moulded shell (20) of expanded plastics strengthened by a metal framework (27) which extends lengthwise of the hull. The framework (27) has two arms (29) that extend laterally to hand-grips (10) on either side of the hull (3). The watercraft (1) is steered by shifting of the user's weight to one side or the other while gripping the hand-grips. The craft (1) is powered by an electric motor (5) coupled to a rearwardly-facing shrouded-propeller (4) on an underside (6) of the shell (20). Electronic motor controls are housed in a watertight metal box (31) incorporated into the framework (27), and motor-speed is regulated via lever mechanisms (9) at the hand-grips. Heat is dissipated via a heat-sink plate (42) exposed directly to the flow through the duct (7).
