An orchestrator system is configured to: receive, at the orchestrator system, a registration package, the registration package including function code, a logical location of input data for the function code, and an event trigger for the function code, the event trigger set to trigger in response to when the input data is modified; interface with a storage service, the storage service to monitor the logical location of the input data and notify a location service when the input data is modified; interface with the location service to obtain a physical location of the input data, the location service to resolve the physical location from the logical location of the input data; and configure the function code to execute near the input data

Innovations in encoder-side decisions that use the results of hash-based block matching when setting parameters are presented. For example, some of the innovations relate to ways to select motion vector precision depending on the results of hash-based block matching. Other innovations relate to ways to selectively disable sample adaptive offset filtering depending on the results of hash-based block matching. Still other innovations relate to ways to select which reference pictures to retain in a reference picture set depending on the results of hash-based block matching.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for pairing a base and a detachable device. A query module queries a detachable device in response to the detachable device connecting to a base. The detachable device provides a display for the base if the detachable device and base are connected. A determination module determines if the detachable device is paired with the base. A credential module obtains a pairing credential for a pairing in response to the determination module determining that the detachable device is unpaired with the base.

Disclosed herein are representative embodiments of generating representative motion information that can be used during processing of a video frame. In one exemplary embodiment disclosed herein, a reference frame comprising a group of blocks is processed, and motion information for the group of blocks is compressed at least by buffering representative motion-vector information and representative reference-frame index information for the group of blocks. The representative reference-frame index information comprises reference-frame index information of a representative block of the group of blocks, and the representative reference-frame index information represents reference-frame index information for the group of blocks during processing of a current frame.

The invention provides a pollution-free reuse method for iron-based grinding waste, involving the technology of recycling economy, with special reference to the metallurgical industry, iron-based grinding waste green recycling technology. The present invention of the iron grinding waste recycling and reuse methods includes degreasing, heat treatment, sieving, matching, and obtains iron-based alloyed powders, which can be used in SHS lined steel pipe, powder metallurgy structural component, magnetic grinding, thermal spray. More than 95% iron-based alloyed powders can be recycled from wide source of iron-based grinding waste. The invention has the advantage of low cost, no secondary pollution and wide application.

Innovations are provided for encoding and/or decoding video and/or image content using dictionary modes. For example, some innovations predict current pixel values from previous pixel values stored in a 1-D dictionary. Other innovations predict current pixel values from previous pixel values using a pseudo 2-D dictionary mode. Yet other innovations predict current pixel values from previous pixel values in a reference picture using an inter pseudo 2-D dictionary mode. Pixel values can be predicted from previous pixel values (e.g., stored in a dictionary) that are identified by an offset and a length. Yet other innovations encode pixel values using hash matching of pixel values.

A method and system for receiving magnetic resonance signals, and a magnetic resonance imaging system are provided. The method includes dividing coil units in a receiving coil array into different coil unit groups. For each of the coil unit groups, correlations are established between carrier frequencies and the signals received by each coil unit in the coil unit group. Low noise amplification is performed, and filtering and frequency mixing is performed on the signals received by all the coil units in the coil unit group according to the correlations to obtain intermediate frequency signals borne on the respectively corresponding carrier frequencies of an identical channel. After performing amplification and filtering on the intermediate frequency signals, the intermediate frequency signals are output to an analog-to-digital conversion unit to perform digital sampling so as to obtain digital domain signals.

The embodiment of the present document provides a method, user equipment and base station for determining a timing advance, which can support a larger cell radius without changing the protocol, the required device complexity is low, and with the UE side transmitting msg3 by using different TA adjustments to obtain a correct timing deviation value, the access delay of the PRACH is minimized, and the overhead of the PRACH sub-frame will not be increased, which can prevent the performance of the system from deterioration, and it can be applied to TDD and FDD LTE systems simultaneously.
