Abstract:
An LED driving apparatus having a temperature compensation function includes a reference voltage generator for generating a first reference voltage and a non-inversion amplification unit for performing non-inversion amplification to a difference voltage between the first reference voltage and a forward voltage with a preset gain. A driving unit adjusts a supply voltage in response to the voltage from the non-inversion amplification unit to supply the adjusted supply voltage to a light source having light emitting diodes. A forward voltage detector detects the forward voltage at an anode of the light emitting diodes of the light source to supply the forward voltage to the non-inversion amplification unit. Luminance variation can be compensated according to temperature changes by using a forward voltage of an LED light source so that the forward voltage of the LED light source can be controlled in association with a target current value of ambient temperature.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for detecting the motion characteristics of particles in a flow channel. The apparatus of the present invention includes first and second electrode groups, each comprising a pair of electrodes, which are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a flow channel, the pair of electrodes functioning as both a drive electrode and a sensing electrode for directly applying voltage and measuring impedance between the electrodes. An operation control unit measures variation in electrical pulses generated in the first and second electrode groups, thus detecting motion characteristics of the particles. The present invention is advantageous in that it does not require complicated optical measuring instruments or analyzing instruments, and in that it can be used to easily detect the motion characteristics of particles in a flow channel merely by analyzing variation in electrical pulses without requiring preliminary information.

Abstract:
A fusing device includes a rotatable pressing roller, a fusing belt to rotate by a rotational force transmitted from the rotatable pressing roller, a nip forming member to contact an inner surface of the fusing belt to form a nip on a contact area between the rotatable pressing roller and the fusing belt, a heating member formed in approximately an internal central portion of the fusing belt to heat the nip forming member and the fusing belt, an inner support member formed within the fusing belt to press a nip part of the nip forming member toward the rotatable pressing roller, and an outer support member formed outside the fusing belt, and both ends of the outer support member being engaged with the inner support member to thereby reinforce the strength of the inner support member and form a path for radiation heat to disperse. The support unit includes an inner support member placed within the belt unit, and an outer support member placed outside the belt unit, both ends of the outer support member being engaged with the inner support member to reinforce the strength of the inner support member and to form a path for a radiation heat to disperse.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a gene coding for L-arabinose isomerase derived from Thermotoga neapolitana 5068, a thermostable arabinose isomerase expressed from the gene, a recombinant expression vector containing the gene, a microorganism transformed with the expression vector, a process for preparing thermostable arabinose isomerase from the transformant ,and a process for preparing D-tagatose employing the arabinose isomerase. Since the recombinant arabinose isomerase is highly thermostable and can produce tagatose with high yield at high temperature, it can be efficiently applied in pharmaceutical and food industries.
