Abstract:
Embodiments of message organization and spam filtering based on user interaction are presented herein. In an implementation, user interaction with a plurality of messages in a user interface is monitored, which includes analyzing an amount of time spent by a user in interacting with each message. Subsequent messages may then be filtered based on the monitored user interaction. In another implementation, messages are processed that are received via a network using a spam filter that was generated based on monitored interaction of a user with previous messages. The processing results in a value describing a relative likelihood of importance of each of the processed message to the user. The processed messages are then arranged for display in an order, one to another, in a user interface based on respective values.
Abstract:
A process for preparation of 7-[D-α-amino-α-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3-(1-propen-1-yl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid viz. Cefprozil of formula (I) in high purity, substantially free of impurities, which comprises preparation of mixed acid anhydride by selecting the sequence and temperature of addition of the reagents and its subsequent condensation with a protected 7-APCA; followed by hydrolysis, isolation and purification to give Cefprozil of formula (I) in the form of a monohydrate.

Abstract:
A method for creating and transporting low-energy ions for use in plasma processing of a semiconductor wafer is disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the method includes generating plasma from a gas species to produce a plasma exhaust. The plasma exhaust is then introduced into a processing chamber containing the wafer. The ion content of the plasma exhaust is enhanced by activating a supplemental ion source as the plasma is introduced into the processing chamber, thereby creating a primary plasma discharge therein. Then, the primary plasma discharge is directed into a baffle plate assembly, thereby creating a secondary plasma discharge exiting the baffle plate assembly. The strength of an electric field exerted on ions contained in the secondary plasma discharge is reduced. In so doing, the reduced strength of the electric field causes the ions to bombard the wafer at an energy insufficient to cause damage to semiconductor devices formed on the wafer.

Abstract:
An apparatus for cooling an electrodeless lamp including a supersonic outlet jet for providing a stream of cooling gas. A common manifold including mounting elements for a plurality of conduits of equal length for transporting cooling gas, wherein the mounting elements are at staggered elevational positions so that the conduits provide cooling gas in the vicinity of lamp envelope at different elevational positions.
Abstract:
We have recognized that in a Wavelength Division Multiplex (WDM) ring network with a closed loop, the possibility of lasing at Amplified Spontaneous Emissions (ASE) wavelengths exists. In accordance with the present invention, we provide a technique for protecting against lasing in a WDM ring network comprising a plurality of serially connected node links, each node link including a segment of optical fiber and an access node site for adding or dropping one or more active wavelength channels to a transmission bandwidth of the network. The protection means changes the optical transmission characteristics of the transmission bandwidth of the network to ensure that the network loop gain at any wavelength is always less than the network loop loss.
