The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, a method and device providing control information for uplink transmission in a wireless communication system supporting uplink multi-antenna transmission. An uplink multi-antenna transmission scheduling method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the following steps: creating downlink control information (DCI), which includes precoding information showing a transmission rank and a precoding matrix of an uplink transmission; transmitting said created downlink control information, which schedules the transmission of an uplink, through a downlink control channel; and receiving said uplink transmission, which is scheduled according to said downlink control information, through an uplink data channel, wherein the size of said precoding information can be determined with respect to the available number of precoding matrices, according to the number of said multi-antennas and uplink transmission rank.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for transmitting reference signals in uplink MIMO transmission. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for transmitting uplink signals through a terminal in the wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving control information including the information on a cyclic shift and/or an orthogonal cover code; allocating the multiplexed reference signals onto an uplink subframe; and transmitting the subframe through a multi-antenna. When the uplink MIMO transmission is multiuser MIMO transmission, the reference signals of the terminal and the reference signals of other terminals can be multiplexed by using the orthogonal cover code.

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for transmitting data in a radio communication system. The method for transmitting data in a radio communication system in which a radio resource for data transmission includes a plurality of data symbols in a time domain, wherein the method comprises the steps of transmitting first data using a space-time block coding (STBC) scheme via a portion of the data symbols from among the plurality of data symbols; and transmitting second data using a cyclic delay diversity (CDD) scheme via the residual data symbols excluding the portion of data symbols.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating a reference signal sequence by user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The UE receives a UE-specific sequence group hopping (SGH) parameter that is specific to itself, and generates a reference signal sequence based on a base sequence in each slot unit. The base sequence is classified into sequence-group numbers determined in each of the slot units by the UE-specific SGH parameter indicating whether SGH has been carried out, and base sequence numbers.

A method for generating a downlink signal in a downlink MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) comprises the steps of: mapping at least one transport block to at least one codeword; mapping at least one layer to each codeword; classifying at least one layer mapped to each codeword into a certain number of layer groups and performing layer permutation by the layer groups; and generating an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) symbol using a signal which is permutated by the layer groups. A method for uplink transmitting control information from a user equipment in a wireless communication system comprises selecting a specific point among a plurality of points distributed into a symbol space, corresponding to control information, the symbol space including a modulation dimension and a sequence dimension; mapping a signal corresponding to the specific point with a control channel including single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbols; and transmitting the control channel. Preferably, the specific point belongs to the sequence dimension.
