Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an epoxy resin composition that can be preferably used for prepreg and fiber reinforced composite material applications and is excellent in elastic modulus, strength, and pot life. The present invention is the epoxy resin composition including the following components [A] to [C] and satisfying the following conditions (1) to (4):
[A]: epoxy resin [B]: aromatic diamine [C]: a compound having a boiling point of 130° C. or more and a molecular weight m of 50 or more and 250 or less, the compound having no epoxy group in the molecule and having substantially no curing ability of an epoxy resin (1): the ratio H/E between the amount by mole, E, of the epoxy group in the component [A] and the amount by mole, H, of active hydrogen in the component [B] is 0.50 or more and 1.30 or less. (2): at least a part of the component [C] satisfies 0.10 or more and 0.60 or less in a ratio m/M of a molecular weight m thereof to a theoretical molecular weight between crosslinking points, M, of a cured product of the epoxy resin composition. (3): the ratio C/E of the amount by mole, E, for epoxy groups of the component [A] to the amount by mole, C, of the component [C] satisfying the condition (2) is 0.01 or more and 0.20 or less; and (4): the viscosity at 70° C. for 2 hours is 5.0 times or less the initial viscosity at 70° C.-

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an epoxy resin composition having both excellent dispersibility of a solid curing agent and excellent impregnation of reinforcing fibers; a molding material for the fiber-reinforced composite material that has excellent dispersibility of the solid curing agent in the post-thickened resin; and a fiber-reinforced composite material that has excellent appearance quality and mechanical characteristics and little unevenness in physical properties. In order to achieve the aforementioned purpose, this epoxy resin composition has the following configuration. The epoxy resin composition includes all components (A)-(C). The degree of dispersion of component (B) in component (A) is 0.1-0.8, the viscosity at 25° C. is 0.1-100 Pa·s, and the glass transition temperature of an epoxy resin cured product at any hardness between 85%-95% is at least 110° C. Abstract: A reinforcing fiber mat manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention is a reinforcing fiber mat manufacturing apparatus that includes a hitting mechanism (40) that comes into contact with a reinforcing fiber bundle to split the reinforcing fiber bundle into a plurality of pieces, and, disperses the plurality of pieces. The hitting mechanism (40) includes a rotation shaft (41), a pair of rotation plates (42) attached to portions of the rotation shaft (41) apart from each other, and a plurality of hitting pieces (43) arranged to extend in parallel to the rotation shaft (41) between the pair of rotation plates (42). The reinforcing fiber mat manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention is a simple apparatus that reliably hits a reinforcing fiber bundle to split the fiber bundle into thin bundles, and disperses the thin bundles to a wide range without causing air turbulence to manufacture a reinforcing fiber mat having a uniform fiber basis weight.

Abstract: There is provided swimwear which satisfies the stretchability, strength, ease of movement, and the like desired for swimwear, has superior water repellency, and reduces friction resistance between a surface of the swimwear and water. The woven fabric for swimwear according to the present invention has a weave structure in which covering coated threads are arranged in at least a part of a warp or weft yarn, the covering coated threads each including an elastic fiber as a core yarn and a synthetic fiber filament as a sheath yarn, where, in a woven fabric structure, one of the warp yarn and the weft yarn has a larger number of float yarns. A direction with a large number of float yarns is defined as a body length (height) direction of the swimwear, a ratio of resistance yarn in a direction perpendicular to the body length (height) direction is 40% or less. The woven fabric is suitably used for swimwear.

Abstract: A polyphenylene sulfide resin composition for automotive cooling parts contains, with respect to 100 parts by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide resin (A): 30 to 110 parts by weight of glass fibers (B); and 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of a silane compound (C) having a functional group selected from an amino group and an isocyanate group. In this polyphenylene sulfide resin composition, the PPS resin (A) has a number-average molecular weight of 7,000 to 14,000, and gives a residue amount of 0.05 to 1.0% by weight when dissolved in 20-fold amount by weight of 1-chloronaphthalene at 250° C. for 5 minutes and subsequently subjected to heat pressure filtration through a PTFE membrane filter having a pore size of 1 μm.
