Abstract: Facilitating virtual carrier aggregation for wideband operation of wireless communication systems is provided herein. A system can comprise: a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can comprise: receiving, from a network device of network devices, downlink transmission data comprising downlink control information applicable to a downlink channel of the network device; as a function of the downlink transmission data, adjusting a subband of subbands resulting in an aggregation of multiple subbands; and transmitting uplink radio traffic data via the aggregation of multiple subbands to the network device.

Abstract: A system employing resource element mapping for efficient use of the downlink control channel is provided for a wireless communication system. Abstract: Aspects of the technology described herein are directed towards using generic control information in a three-party wireless communication system to schedule a data transmission and reception of the data transmission. A scheduler node transmits the generic control information, comprising identification information that identifies a user equipment device as a transmitter node, and scheduling information that schedules a data transmission. For unicast data transmissions, the generic control information further identifies a receiver node, and can schedule transmission of an ACK/NACK from the receiver node corresponding to receiving the data transmission. A control procedure can be configured in a user equipment device by linking a channel configuration dataset to a resource configuration dataset, which in turn is linked to a channel transmit and receive configuration dataset. Reconfiguration is achieved by changing the linking(s) between one or more different available datasets.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, by a first radio module at a first location, a wireless signal, to obtain a first received RF signal. The wireless signal includes information originating at a remote transmitter and conveyed via a wireless channel. An envelope of the first received RF signal is detected by the first radio module without requiring a local oscillator, to obtain a first baseband signal. The first baseband signal may be filtered and/or amplified, after which it is provided to a processor. The processor also obtains a second digital signal from a second radio module receiving the wireless signal at a second location and determines an estimate of the information originating at the remote transmitter according to the first and second signals. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: One subscriber identity module (SIM) can transmit data in active mode while another SIM is in an idle mode. However, paging for the SIM in idle mode can occur based on a discontinuous reception configuration (DRX) cycle of the active SIM. For example, when the DRX of the active SIM indicates that the active SIM is in an idle state, then the SIM that is currently in an idle state can send messages and vice versa. The DRX cycle information can be exchanged between a first core network and a second core network. Each core network can belong to the same or different mobile network operator and can have separate radio access networks (RAN) or share the RAN. The DRX cycle information and/or a time-division multiplexing (TDM) pattern can be exchanged over the air via a system information broadcast message.

Operations of a method can comprise determining, by a first device comprising a processor, a channel covariance matrix in a time-frequency domain based on a channel estimation associated with reference signals received from a second device. The method also can comprise decomposing, by the first device, the channel covariance matrix into a group of component matrices. Further, the method can comprise transforming, by the first device, respective matrices of the group of component matrices into respective covariance matrices in a delay doppler domain. The method also can comprise determining, by the first device, channel state information feedback in the delay doppler domain.

Abstract: Discontinuous access to unlicensed spectrum is facilitated in a new radio access environment. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise performing a scanning procedure that determines whether a first subband and a second subband is available for transmission. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first subband and the second subband are adjacent, wherein a first channel formed at the first subband comprising a first guard band and a second channel formed at the second subband comprising a second guard band that is adjacent to the first guard band. The system can further facilitate in response to determining that the first subband and the second subband are adjacent and available for transmission, eliminating the first guard band and the second guard band.
