Abstract:
In a vaporized fuel treatment apparatus a partition wall member is housed in an inner cap, and a gas-liquid separation chamber and a fuel adsorption chamber are defined on either side of the partition wall member. Further, a partition plate is provided on an open end of the inner cap. Wall portions are formed respectively on the partition wall member and the partition plate, and a conduction passage is defined in the fuel adsorption chamber by these wall portions. As a result, air containing vaporized fuel can be guided to every corner of the fuel adsorption chamber. Further, a through hole is provided in a central portion of the partition wall member, and therefore liquid fuel is prevented from flowing into the fuel adsorption chamber even when a fuel tank is tilted.

An optical pickup apparatus including an objective lens capable of enhancing temperature characteristics and wavelength characteristics, and which enables compatibility for three types of optical discs of BDs, DVDs, and CDs by using the objective lens in common, an optical information recording and reproducing apparatus, and an objective lens suitable for it. In a first optical path difference providing structure in which at least a first basic structure and a second basic structure are superimposed on each other, an amount of a level difference in an optical axis direction can be reduced, whereby it becomes possible to suppress the lowering of a diffraction efficiency when wavelength changes. Further, in the first basic structure and the second basic structure deterioration of the spherical aberration due to the change of the refractive index of the objective lens can be corrected by utilizing a phenomenon that the wavelength of the light source rises similarly due to a rise in the environmental temperature.

A DDS (direct digital synthesizer) remarkably increased in the number of frequencies which can be output while maintaining the phase coherency, and an NMR instrument using such a DDS are provided. A DDS including phase accumulators and a phase-to-amplitude modulator is provided with a plurality of phase accumulators operating with fixed phase implements which are equal to powers of 2, a controller for outputting each bit of a frequency tuning word as control data, a plurality of switches for outputting an output of an associated one of the phase accumulators when an associated one of the control data supplied from the controller is 1 and outputting 0 when the associated one of the control data is 0, and an adder for adding up outputs of the switches.

The present invention provides an electromagnetic wave shielding material that has high electromagnetic wave shielding effects, excellent transparency, and excellent see-through property, and a simple and inexpensive production process for the electromagnetic wave shielding material. Specifically, the present invention provides a process for producing an electromagnetic wave shielding material, the process comprising screen-printing in a geometric pattern a conductive paste containing a particulate silver oxide, a tertiary fatty acid silver salt, and a solvent, onto a transparent porous layer surface of a transparent resin substrate having a transparent porous layer containing as a main component at least one member selected from the group consisting of oxide ceramics, non-oxide ceramics, and metals; and performing heat treatment to form a conductive region with a geometric pattern on the transparent porous layer surface; and an electromagnetic wave shielding material produced by the production process.

A signal processing circuit of an external device includes a CPU and a memory which are not shown. A program for estimating at least one of the position and orientation of a capsule endoscope on the basis of strength signals received through respective antennas is installed in the signal processing circuit. A single-core coil to generate a magnetic field is arranged in the capsule endoscope. The generated magnetic field is detected by a plurality of coils arranged outside a body, whereby a distance that the capsule endoscope has traveled can be obtained with accuracy. This arrangement controls image-capture timing to reliably capture images necessary for a diagnosis and prevent unnecessary image capture.
