A random access method, a base station and a terminal are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a base station, a preamble sequence that is sent by a terminal during random access; identifying a type of the terminal according to the preamble sequence; and sending, according to the type of the terminal, a message of a random access procedure to the terminal on processing bandwidth supported by the terminal.

A random access response method, a base station, and a terminal are disclosed. In an embodiment the method includes receiving a random access preamble sent in an enhanced manner, determining at least one of level information or resource information corresponding to the random access preamble sent in the enhanced manner and sending a random access response RAR of the random access preamble according to the at least one of the level information or the resource information, where the RAR is carried by a physical downlink shared channel PDSCH.

Embodiments of the present invention provide an information transmission method and device. The method includes: reporting, by a UE, a CQI value to an eNB; receiving, by the UE, an MCS value sent by the eNB, where the MCS value is determined by the eNB according to the CQI value; and receiving, by the UE, PDSCH data according to the MCS value, where the CQI value and the MCS value are determined according to a second set of tables, where a modulation scheme that can be supported by the second set of tables is higher than 64QAM. The embodiments of the present invention can improve system performance and reduce waste of feedback resources.

The present application discloses a method, a base station, and a user equipment for determining channel loss, where the method includes: receiving first information that is from a first user equipment (UE) and corresponds to a rank of a channel loss extent of the first UE; and determining the rank of the channel loss extent of the first UE according to the first information. In the present application, a base station can learn a rank of a channel loss extent of a first UE, so as to perform data transmission according to the rank, thereby improving the quality of communications between the base station and the first UE.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for acquiring a signal to noise ratio (SNR), a signal receiving device and a signal sending device. Through the embodiments of the present invention, an SNR of the signal receiving device (i.e., a receiving end) can satisfy the setting requirement, that is, the test condition that an SNR does not contain a precoding gain, so that a subsequent test is valid.
